Will NDVO extends medical validity my medical expires on January 13. They asked me to submit medical proof and Pcc proof by January 16. I was very positive of receiving PPR back with visa but no update at all my ecas is just in process

Try checking the status using sponsor information. You can see both the sponsor and sponsored information.

Hi chams and chamu, any news from NDVO? They are taking too long to give you DM. Did you order GCMS notes or do an MP inquiry?

1. After how long does the NDVO requests for passport after receiving the file.
2. how much time do i have to send the passport to the NDVO?
3. does it delays the process if i take sometime to send the passport, like a couple of months?

P.S. i have applied for spousal sponsorship.

1. usually it takes a month for passport request but in some cases it has been little bit more than 2 months. Check your spam folder, sometimes request ends up there. If you don't hear from NDVO past 2 months, time for a visit to your MP's office or order notes
2. there is no time limit as far as I know (maybe some one else can confirm this)
3. not sure if it causes delays..some members have said it would and some say it won't

Yeah, its because of a Polar Vortex... Sounds like something that comes out of comic books.. like the Polar Vortex of Doom...lol
Instant freezing in 5 minutes or less when exposed. Supposedly this is the coldest, breaking the record of -20 degrees in 1968 without the wind chill. GTA, kitchner/waterloo and niagara areas saw -40 degrees with wind chill.

Calgary was -50 degrees with windchill a few days ago.

it looks more likely that they would extend your medical expiry date..I don't see how they can send your passport now and ask you to leave in one week...when you say they asked you to submit medical proof, did the morons loose your medical results? don't they have an electronic version of the whole file with supporting documents? are they living in some remote islands of Indonesia....unbelievable.. or they are asking you to do medicals again...

Guy GOT A CALL from NDVO .....just nw.....they asked whether i d like to get my passport myself or i would want them to post it to me.....and then confirmed my address and asked me whether its possible fr me leave bef feb 12th....yayyyyyyyy .....

NDVO is now processing May applications....hopefully you will hear from them soon. Wait until mid Feb and if you see June applications are being processed in full swing and you have not seen your ecas status change, may be it is time for ordering notes; contacting MP etc...

1. Approximately 2 months to get PPR since application received at CIC-mississauga, 1 month after SA/file transfer to New Delhi
2/3. You can send it anytime but best to send ASAP for faster processing. If they have to ask again and again, your application will be delayed.

I got PPR December 1 if they need my remedical instead of proof I would have send my remedical I dont know understand working procedure. April-May applicant already have Jan applicant are still waiting and also my PCC have expired December 27...dont know how long I have to wait... tired...stress out frustrated ....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hi Desi-Girl, There is no update yet from NDVO. It's still in process. I have applied for the third notes on Jan 2nd. My second notes is no different from my 1st. The last activity on our file was on Sep 03. MP said that NDVO is doing background check and pending final review and that's what my notes say too.

I even mailed minister, there is no response even after a month now. But heard that minister don't involve on an individual case query. However, i asked for an appointment just to tell him how stupid their process is and hope he gives one.

Don't know what kind of background check they are doing for 5 months. ??? :
