Hi Desi-Girl, There is no update yet from NDVO. It's still in process. I have applied for the third notes on Jan 2nd. My second notes is no different from my 1st. The last activity on our file was on Sep 03. MP said that NDVO is doing background check and pending final review and that's what my notes say too.

I even mailed minister, there is no response even after a month now. But heard that minister don't involve on an individual case query. However, i asked for an appointment just to tell him how stupid their process is and hope he gives one.

Don't know what kind of background check they are doing for 5 months. ??? ::)

Wow, that is really frustrating. It's hard to know just what they are thinking exactly. I hope you get your DM before you get your notes.

It is our first marriage. After our marriage she came to Canada on visitor's visa for 7 months. According to the notes, they got RCMP clearance too. No idea what they are doing.

Lets see what Wednesday has got for all of us :)

:o No way!! I missed out on wishing you...
Well, no worries. You can remember me as wishing you late but with a bang ;D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! :)... Belated
May NDVO get down on their knees and beg you to give your passport to them so that they can stamp it immediately and give it back with a First class airline ticket to Canada. And may you always have this cheery personality that makes others happy.
And may all your wishes and dreams come true :D :D :D :D

thanks a lot for your wishes....ND visa officer getting down on knees sounds romantic and I have to make sure the officer is short so that my hands can involuntary swing and officer's face happens to be meeting my hands. ....maybe not, I still need my visa....maybe I can offer my blessings instead...thanks again desi-girl... wishing you all the best

I got PPR December 1 if they need my remedical instead of proof I would have send my remedical I dont know understand working procedure. April-May applicant already have Jan applicant are still waiting and also my PCC have expired December 27...dont know how long I have to wait... tired...stress out frustrated ....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I don't think they will ask you to do PCC again...it is frustrating for all of us and I wish they could be more transparent in their process (tell us what is happening and how long will it take)...hang in there you will hear from them soon one way or other...I think after submitting new medicals it won't take that long (one to two weeks after they get the results) to issue visa...

maybe ND visa officers are yet to recover from their holiday eggnog drinking hangovers...it usually takes 30 days but because of holidays (every day is holiday over there but Christmas holidays are special) it might take longer in your case...if you don't hear from them before the end of this month, it is time for your fingers to get bruises (knock on MP's door, call centers, etc)...

Any In Process today or yesterday ...............
