thank you sooooo much for all the info, so I get a call from my lawyer on nov23 saying that they sent me an email, so I checked and there is a letter dated nov 20 2013 from immigration with my uci and application # . my application was sent last week of oct to cic m.
so now using my uci # 1st week of dec I get on line and it shows under sponsorship application "we received your application to sponsor -----------on nov 4 2013" and under the permenent resident application status 1. we received ---------- application for permanent resident on nov 4 2013 and 2. medical results have been received.
I don't know whats going on lol ,let me know thanks

can u call cic call center asap and ask them its over a month since i applied have i been approved or not??...coz u shld have been approved 2-3 weeks bk....hope this helps......your stage one clearly says u haven't been approved as yet... it doesn't take that long its been 38 days since u applied..

Thanks for the # and I'll call them in the morning ,iv seen this other person that had their file received nov 4 and they got a status change just yesterday dec10th, do they change statuses on a certain day?? I guess im not sleeping tonight :'(

oh ho don't get so stressed keep it for when your file gets transferred to ndvo all will be fine some get SA early some get delayed ...its always better to check it with cic.....im sure u will get some answers by tom ....

you filed your application in March and got passport request in Nov? did you miss request email or NDVO did not send request at all? did you find it from notes and sent it? I ordered notes twice and both of them say 'nothing started'. If your case is like the first one where NDVO did not request till Nov then it gives me hope that someday they will ask for my passport when they find my file buried under piles of applications...as for no updates, hopefully you will get it before the weekend. Next week I doubt if they work at all since Christmas is coming soon and even if they get only two days of holidays they may not be in working mood (as if they ever were before!!)

I emailed to NDVO regarding my PPR on 10-08-2013 n Never applied for gcms or neither went for MP
NDVO replied me with attached PPR on 12-11-2013 buddy n I really wish u luck from my heart coz I know
How hard it is to live far from ur better half.

How long does it take to get a first stage approval letter (when the file is transferred to CHC-ND) after receiving AOR email? Is it possible to get the letter in 4 days? hehehe The reason is, I wont be here in Canada. I will be visiting my wife back home. I am flying out this Saturday..(had enough of it already)
I received my AOR via email on Tuesday Dec 10th. What are the chances of getting the approval letter in mail by Friday
I was hoping to receive the letter before I leave...I will give me a peace of mind that the at least the 1st stage is complete. I am not missing anything

I never got by post as I had requested for all emails.....did you ask for no email in your application?
