Thanks Myrah7. Your words came true before and hope for the good news soon. Esp. seeing May 29th applicant going into IP, why not me next. Just to show some progress and guarantee that interview is waived. These days people are staying in IP for a long time anyway.

Just for the record, I did not sign of my email as 'disgruntled Canadian' lol.

Thanks,

Lol...With the letter I am sure the MP would be thinking wtf.....lol....its the dam govt...they keep cutting cost and cic chops ..... the spousal should be the highest priority....

cost cutting is the main problem but I think the whole government employee mindset is THE problem..you can add 1000 more employees at NDVO but the process will be slow no matter what because it is the mindset, if i can do it tomorrow why do it today and the cycle goes on next day

Did not sleep yet Myrah7? No, I do know the status and dynamics, but I want the MP to answer. If I have more time, I would be pressing these guys to the point, they will get me arrested. But I am busy with work also and all my energy is being spent to keep things cool.

Thanks,

I think the MP's don't know themselves so I think the reply you got was the most they can do. Your reply is certainly good for venting but unfortunately it won't get you anything. All sponsors are tax payers and everyone is waiting like everyone, some more and some less. The only person who can give the most accurate answer is New Delhi, the manager and the visa officer but they have so many file that no one will bother

I think Canada is the longest to sponsor a spouse....all the other countries it takes like 1 or 2 months......the great Canada basically not happy with spouses from outside.....

Considering the wait times for Pakistani spouses, your next door neighbors - ND is like paradise when it comes to 12 months of spouse sponsorship
Distance grows love, don't lose hope

I disagree with you but have no energy to type all that I want to say.

Whats your point?

Why freaking do anything better at all considering somewhere someone is doing worse.

yes the next state will be IP unless NDVO decides to put you to DM directly....
Could you share your time line?

there was one member whose status went directly from application received to decision made...even ordering notes won't show the status change...it is a mess with NDVO's process.. I suspect processing officer does not communicate promptly with status changer officer (I just give him this wonderful title to make feel good) or even if he communicates it takes time to change status...

So I am considering this option of somehow finding a friend to hand it over in India and my people
there will take care of sending it to NDVo and get it back from them to their address.. and then find someone else flying to US and deliver it back to me..

I hope my absence in India isn't an issue...

Like you said if they call me for anything (I didn't know even this could happen!!!!!), I'll be in trouble....

One stop solution to avoid all confusions looks like to be me flying to India... but at the cost of my job :/

Where in the States do you reside and where in India is your family located? Can you really trust someone to handle your passport with care and take it to India for delivery? It is going to be harder to find someone to bring it back.

It might be very difficult and almost impossible for you to fly to India... And it will affect your job in USA. But you can also look on the brighter side. You will be with your wife soon and would have quit your job, had you already had gotten your PR.

if june applicant gets ip soon then it is not only june applicant who is shocked, the rest of us waiting in line would faint...May applicant varun kumar got his IP then people got upset, imagine the reaction if it is june applicant..i would leave town, change my address if I were a June applicant who got his status changed (just joking...we are very supportive whether it is happy or sad news)
