they have started processing may applicant right now and lots of files waitin in line from jan -april. still.... backlog from 2012 applicants still pending.....
u are nov applicant so u will probably hear something from them around mid 2014...good luck

yes 6 - 8 months if your case is straight forward with no red flags .....

by mid jan probably june applicants will start getting updates ....lets hope ndvo speeds up the process rt now they as slow as a snail...lol

When is the medical suppose to be done. I did my application on Nov25, 2013. Bc i was just reading everyones status n it says its before the application is received. Please advise.

medicals are supposed to be done before sending application to cic .....and the receipt which u get after medicals are supposed to be attached when u send the application to cic...

For the medical exam which form do i have make my husband take?...i just sended my application without the Medical bc i thought it can later. Please let me know so i can send him right away to get it done. Also How do i send it to CIC now..i m going to india in couple days for a month can i post it fm there for my application.

yes, u can get it done then (u might have to take an appointment early depending on how busy that hospital is)

The medical form is part of the India-specific instructions (the one that has photo specifications, travel history and all). The doc will give you a copy of medical form once done and u can send that with your passport when NDVO sends u the passport request.

I just chked today...status changed today only cos i chked last night as well...they started processing my file on dec 04.....

Congratulations! Now that everything is working to their favour, hope the NDVO process applications faster so in turn they will do the same for us.
