doubt it...coz even if u giving birth to a child ...ndvo doesn't care they don't speed up the process! one more thing if u don't get ppr by end dec apply for gcms notes...to see if u missed the ppr ....

Myrah I already applied for GSM notes- and put the application number which starts with an F and put location New Delhi- I have scanned copy from my wife- I will be sending a request first of every month- dont care its just 5 dollars.-- the least I can do from here- as looking at CIC online is like staring at the wall.

lol u don't need to do it every month but yea just one now for the ppr....and then maybe in march april once more.... when august applicants start getting their visa....since u are sept applicant

getting a visa is all luck..some guys who have applied before strike got it; some still waiting; some guys after the strike got it; some are waiting....lack of transparency makes everyone frustrated...hang in there, you will hear soon from morons... all it requires is some stupid visa officer to open the file and review

I joined this forum today. Is it quite normal for NDVO to request the applicant's passport in the early stages of spouse sponsorship?

Here are some of the details:

Application filed: Oct 25, 2013
Sponsorship approved: Nov 14, 2013
Passport request: Nov 26, 2013
Medicals have already been submitted upfront.
Application Status as on Dec 07, 2013: Application received.


Seems like they would hold the passport for the next 12 months

Yes is is completely normal for NDVO to request he passport really early. Usually they ask for it around one month after they receive your application. Good luck with your application and hopefully it doesn't take 12 months to get the PR.

I am wondering the same thing. If we are lucky, it should be soon. If not, then hopefully at the same time as when we get IP.

The spreadsheet is an organizational chart for all 2013 applicants applying to New Delhi for their PR. It gives you information on who has similar timelines to you and if they have any activity on their processing. It lets you know which month and day the NDVO is processing and how long you might have to wait. Also, it lets us know what day someone got their decision or meds received, or etc.

It may be a good idea to get GMCS notes, you may have missed the email. Most of the September folk have gotten their PPR.

Hi Loving, I also suggest that you should apply for GCMS notes or do an MP inquiry because you might have missed the PPR in your email. That way you will know for sure.
