No we didn't submit any original documents. Sent only photocopy of all the documents except the divorce petition which is notarized by the external ministry of affairs since we got it only after submitted our application. Now we are going to send those document photocopy with the cover letter tomorrow. How long will it take to process my application?

after your 30 days is complete and they receive your documents then another 1-2 months ... to start processing your application once again.!! u don't need to send the original ..copy is fine....

Hi, my brother was interviewed on May 2, 2013 at NDVO but haven't heard back anything yet. Online his status is IP. Is there any time when we should expect to hear back?

has your brother gone to mp or applied notes I think they shld they shld do it asap.....and see where their file is stuck

Yes, they have met with an MP last week who told should respond within a week. But haven't heard back anything. My sister-in-law is now ready to apply for GCMNOtes. However, she is not well acquainted with online stuff. Would it be okay if I file from my computer (USA) and use her information? It's written on the website that if you have address in Canada then you don't need to supply proof. please advise on it.

to what I know they ask for petition which is very impt then the order and then certificate for Canada....u need to ask your lawyer to get u the petition from court.......I think that's the 1st document u file in court.....if u haven't sent it...then u will get adr from ndvo...its better to get it and send it before they ask u for u it.........

Complicity of relationship or marriage also comes into picture for spousal application process ? Like some people are getting Visa in 6,7 or 9 months.

Myrah please throw some light on this topic.
