I got an e-mail from Delhi immigration to provide the following document(s):
- you sponsor's divorce petition/application for the dissolution of his previous marriage.
you have 30 days to submit these documents at which time a decision will be taken on your file. Failure to comply with this request may result in your case being refused.
We trust that this information will be of assistance.

May I know how long will it take to get the DM after submitting these documents??

And also they didn't mention whether i need to submit photo copy or originals, so what should i submit?

I have one question if ndvo take the interview and they ask some question regarding marriage cermony and diffrence of age and my wife give all the answer correctly and they did not received the passport and they return her and they said we will send result on your email what does mean they refuse or they need more time

MPs. We all just assume they have the power. The judiciary has the real power and they make policies to be implemented over time. It is the businessmen and bureaucrats who run this country (or for that matter any other country). The political front is needed to run, but they do not make decisions. They might influence them, but not make them. So the MPs have a little more say than us, the citizens. They get answers faster than us. In some cases, CIC or other offices do not bother to answer us, but they will do this courtsey to the MPs.

So rightly said, mps do reply as if they are so concerned but actually they are not

This might hurt... but I think you should prepare for a rejection. Prepare for the next step. They would have kept the passport if they had any intention of issuing a visa. My two cents....

We have already submitted everything with our file. again they are requesting to submit those petitions.

Just the citizens of Canada can get GCMS notes. You will need your spouse to sign the consent form and apply in your name.

I am May 15 Applicant and my E-CAS is Application Received Only.

I am thinking to Apply for my first GCMS Notes.

But Confuse for what should I write in CONSENT and whom need to sign in it.

Only Sponsor or Sponsor and Applicant Both

Lesson learnt from your case is to send multiple copies and mails. When I sponsored my parents I was asked to submit documentation. So I did. Then again and then again. 3 times in mail and 2-3 faxes.... Just inundate with more copies of the same. At least one will get through.

Hi All,

Hope some people from New Delhi 2012/13 threads know me n my case.. To brief you our case was rejected coz acc to them they did not receive the additional docs requested after the interview In Time (60 days were given to submit add docs).. Though the docs reached well IN TIME but thanks to our VOs!! However after appealing (ADR) with God's grace they decided to re-open the case as the V.O accepted to have received the required docs after rejecting our case & So decided to resume our application.. N now we had received re-medical & re-PCC as the old ones had expired.

So now we have submitted the re-medical & re-PCC 2 months ago along with few Forms (updated addresses, background declaration, family history, so n so forth) they have asked to resubmit!!

P.S the e-cas status is returned to Application Received from DM as they resumed the process!!

Need your suggestions when can We expect our PP back with Visa??

Hi Satrup.. We did send multiple copies, asked for acknowledgement via email but they least care!! Yes but one should have full record of the courier tracking sheet/ mail reciept... One should knock NDVO repeatedly.. rest is all ur fate... These people are highly unpredictable!!

Didn't u send the original divorce application ?

No we didn't submit any original documents. Sent only photocopy of all the documents except the divorce petition which is notarized by the external ministry of affairs since we got it only after submitted our application. Now we are going to send those document photocopy with the cover letter tomorrow. How long will it take to process my application?
