I applied PR application in February with Medical.

Mistakenly I sent my wife's file to Vegreville. They return my file after six months with a letter, your wife is not in Canada so please send your file in Mississauga from scratch. At that time my wife was in Canada as a visitor. So I called in immigration office and also sent a letter they told me that you can either send your file in outland and inland. Outland processing time was short so we decided to send to Mississauga.

This is our first marriage. It was an arranged marriage. Our case is also very simple.

Wedding photographs and all required proofs were given.

Status is same from many months.

Also did MP inquiry he is saying, application is in normal processing time. So you have to wait for few months more.

Is there any chance for an interview, Because most of interviews are for Jan/Feb Applicants??

it depends on details of your relationship..do you have red flags such as age difference, marriage with no family members present, marriage immediately after divorce, etc...this topic was addressed few pages ago, this is what other person wrote

It seems to me that you have decent enough proofs, I think why applicants are getting flagged for interview like myself are because:

1. No periods of cohabitation
In other words, man and wife did not spend time together for a couple of weeks after marriage as a husband and wife should
2. Application for sponsorship right after marriage
Quick arranged marriages are the cuplrit here but this is our tradition, we are brought up this way and most of us follow this tradition but essentially Western cultures have a hard time understanding this sort of arrangement
3. Not enough evidence of contact prior or after marriage
Very few phone calls/emails or chat logs, Visa officers want to see husband and wife should maintain consistent communication
***********************

if you end up in an interview, just go with the thought that it is not a trick to deny your visa. NDVO just wants to know if your relationship is genuine.

Thanks for your reply. Nothing is like that our case is very simple. She visited me more than 8 months in Canada after our wedding. There is a visitor visa on her passport.

that's good. Easy part of knowing about interview is over. The hard part is to find where the hell is your file (basement or attic)...have you ordered notes? most MPs are like trained lab monkeys they have been trained to say the same thing. Ordering notes might help to see what is the status of your file.

I will wait one week more after that will apply for Notes. This is the last thing we can do.

All the best :) :)

Hi everyone :)

Just want to share my GCMS notes experience
couple of u might know 2 weeks back (Oct 30) I had applied for GCMS notes online but I didn't receive any confirmation email. After a couple of days I saw the charge $5 on my credit card, so I emailed ATIP on Nov 4 & told them about it and attached the receipt (fortunately I had printed the receipt after the payment) & asked them if they have received the request. On Nov 13 they emailed me back saying they need me to re-submit my ATIP application either by email or by post mail. So yesterday I emailed them attaching the application form, consent form, my PR card scan & the receipt copy scanned. I received their reply yesterday evening, saying I'll hear from them shortly and today I received the Notes :)

The notes says:
App status: In progress
Eligibility: Passed
Criminality: Not started
Security: Not started
Medical: Not started

In the notes section it says: Relationship appears genuine. Interview waiver recommended :) & RFV checks which means ready for visa I think ???
And yes, whenever u make a GCMS request, it shows in the Incoming section of the notes, I had applied for GCMS previously in Aug and it listed in the notes.

Hopefully they complete the meds & security quickly. Praying to God tht all get visa soon, so we can celebrate Christmas with our spouses ;D

Hi SN0206 :)

Sorry for replying late.

I got a call as well as an email for resubmission of my medical, they gave me 30 days time do that.
No they did not send my pp back, instead thy asked me to take this letter from embassy along.
So you did re do medical without showing your pp? Thx for the reply. :)

Does anyone know what it means on gcms notes under "eligibility : 1 " what's that mean?

Sorry one more time :) does anyone's "due date" under eligibility coincide with the day their medical expires????

you don't have to say sorry every time. I don't think that happen to anyone but it should not be the case. What exactly is showing in the notes for you. I believe it is the update date that they might have entered.

I dont have same dates. Eligibility date is 1 year from the Sponsorship approval date & Medical a month after in-process date

E-CAS changed on Nov 12 - In process since Nov 9
That's when the officer completed the eligibilty, as per the notes.
