Does anyone know if you have an interview AFTER ur medicals expire ? What are they doing if the interview goes well ??? Or is this a sign that they already plan to reject you ?

magessss said:
they either call you or send you email no mail will be send.

thank god for not sending the notice by regular mail..by the time NDVO decides to send it, the interview date would be over

what do you mean your medical expire and you get interview?

So far as I know they can extend your medical and when did you send your application to them. Because they will start medical the time they get your application received.

I doubt that. They don't really care about medical until after you are cleared. Once all is cleared they probably look at the medicals and see if they can expedite so that you dont have to do medical again. LOGICALLY. But you are dealing with CIC and NDVO - so you never know. At times I feel they draw sadistic pleasures and have bets going on in their offices who gets away with most rejections.

as far as I know, medicals expiration has no bearing on the interview....if medicals expire after the interview they will ask you to redo or schedule an interview so close to medicals expiration date (based on their schedules..sometimes it is overbooked that interview date falls after the medical expiration date) that they will ask the person to be interviewed to pack and go within weeks before the medicals expire

as I can see it NDVO plan's to see your relationship first.

they look at the detail provided to them by picture's, wedding card, phone bills, or any conversation you had. Then they will decide whether it is a genuine marriage or not. if they are confuse they call for interview.

then comes security and medical same time. medical will be quick and will be done fast. security will take long if you have more travel history.

They will then give visa.

K m just asking cuz it seems so common that they ask applicants to leave by a certain day because of the medical expiry

sadistic pleasures? i seriously doubt that they have any quota for rejections..it is just like any government agency - full of incompetents and outdated technology, lack of transparency and too many people applying for immigration and they have limited manpower. Added to this nonsense is they go on strikes.

Also in the gcms notes what does DUE DATE: mean??

Well said and can i add here.... inefficiency on behalf of some of the visa officers as well.
My confusion and frustration is.....when they know the Canadian immigration system is one of the busiest in the world ...then hire more ppl! I am sure there are ppl willing to take these jobs up....helll ill take one! :)

Problem is even deeper than this..and its more political...specially with the current conservative govt.

my medical will expire in 20 days so feeling of getting anxious is starting to grow :(

wish it was like pizza restaurants (Domino's pizza or pizza hut) thirty minutes or less delivery or it is free on us..NDVO saying 30 minutes or less your 'DM' or I will quit my job or you can slap me
