Nope no travel history......and ya it was straight forward .....arranged mrg....first mrg.....no kids.....with the blessing of all the elders.....proper ceremonies and everything

Dont know buddy, I didn't ask my wife the visa issuance date.

You got passport req after long months? Wow finally you got passport req. All the best for visa.

My GCMS notes said that PP was requested on May 30th. but we did not receive any emails. NDVO called on landline at my wife's home. Lucky she was there to answer it and I was there to hear the conversation It lasted for about 15 mins or so and they asked her to send the passport immediately. Since then its been very quiet... i dont like it..

It is mandatory for the pp holder to receive the passport......

One question to all who received their pp with visa...is it mandatory for the pp holder to receive it or anyone can receive on their behalf at residence and through which mail is it couriered ? Please help by giving your answer and many many congratulations to all dms, pp recievers and IPs

I have applied for notes on OCt 15. I'm expecting to get it this week. I didn't get any response for the MP enquiry yet. :'(

Hi Chams,
Do you know if in your case you had an upfront medical or did you get the IMM1017?
Just sharing my experience...
My wife had her medicals done in Jan, 2013(IMM1017) and I had mailed it with my original package to Mississauga.
However, last week, I received an email from NDVO asking for proof of medical. Since Feb they've apparently switched to an online medical format.
Looking at my GCMS notes the last time my wife's Medical report(1MM 1017) was looked at was in Mississauga, and I'm guessing it wasn't forwarded to NDVO.
Subsequently, I've emailed & mailed them a hard copy(thanks to User-Anupam's advice) of the Medical report and hopefully they can re-process my file soon.
I'm just hoping people who've got medicals done prior to Feb aren't having the same diffculty and are in the dark about it.
