Based on trends.....since the strike got called off....ECAS seems to update on weekends as well.
Or it could just be people checking their status on the weekends

Its good if they work on weekends until they clear the backlogs. Only if they really do "WORK".

The only problem I see is as December is approaching there will be the holidays season and hence the NDVO will be slacking off because of the holiday season....hope every one gets before that....

That makes me nervous. I too hope they clear visa quickly and leave for a happy feeling holidays.

OMG guys!!! Saw the best two words in the English language right now on my Ecas - Decision Made!!!! Here is my timeline:

Application received by CIC-M: 22nd March 2013
Meds done: Feb 2013
AOR: April 2013
Sponsorship approval and File Transfer: 16th April 2013
PPR: 22nd May 2013
In process: 7th Oct 2013 as per Ecas (Change in status happened post 10th Oct)
Decision Made: 1st Nov 2013

I had stopped checking Ecas from September 23rd onwards coz I was tired of seeing the same status. My husband had told me that he checked Ecas on Oct 9th and it was still Application received and Medical results have been received.

Post Oct 9th, he checked Ecas again only on Oct 30th night and that's when we found out that my status was In Process since Oct 7th as per the website and I guess the status got updated on the website only post October 10th which is why we were not aware of it when he had checked before on Oct 9th. So I guess my Decision Made status got updated on Ecas either 31st Oct or today 1st Nov!

So so so happy! Just waiting for my passport now and hoping to see the shiny visa in it!!

Two days official holidays. But many take vacation a week or two combining Christmas and New Year.

Hey Forumn...7Finally got the PAssport Back with the shiny visa..

Visa was stamped on the 28th OCT but the Decision Made appeared only on 31st Evening and Passport back in my hand on 1st Nov.
My timeline is on the left.
Just to give an Idea about my case : Marriage first , wife was pregnant in the third month when we submitted the file , Had travel History (live in Ireland for 3 years , So had to get PCC from Ireland , Lived in Canada earlier (from 2010)

Hope this can give a GUESS-timate . But Seriously I think the NDVO have actually started working on the April FIles INstead of clearing the backlogs of 2012 and Early 2013......

Please do not send me life threatning messages as this is just my Point of view (NOthing Offical About it....AAAhhaaaa ...)

And a Big Thank you to the members....Special shout out to my man singh786 , verma88 , RD, Myrah (How can any1 4get her)......Got a lotta help so will try to help ......
