visa was stamped on 21st n ... got it on 28th ... dm 24th ,,,

No, doesn't say anything about the medical. Not sure why that is since we sent the medicals with the application.

There's a new procedure that will allow medical validity to be extended if your application processing is completed within 15 months of the original medical exam and the only thing stopping your application from final approved and PPR is the expiration of your medical results (or ability to reasonably land within the initial year-long validity).

Officers will now be able to submit a request for an extension of the medical exam result validity (as long as they were done within the last 15 months) and they can extend them for an additional 12 months without the need for an additional medical exam. The details are on the CIC website.

Hopefully this saves folks time and expense of extra medical exams.

Nice this is good news....but at the same time we may be looking at more time frame...

Is NDVO working on Weekends?

Based on trends.....since the strike got called off....ECAS seems to update on weekends as well.
Or it could just be people checking their status on the weekends

The only problem I see is as December is approaching there will be the holidays season and hence the NDVO will be slacking off because of the holiday season....hope every one gets before that....
