My Friend was living alone in India with two kids and her husband deserted her a year before. She is well educated and working as a Project Manager is a publishing company. She is planning to move to Canada.
Is there an option to apply for Canadian PR for her and the kids without a divorce...
My friend is trying to apply for PR from India. He does not have an work offer from a Canadian company. Can he still apply for P.R through express entry? He has over 10 years of experience in Graphics designing, have Bachelors degree and age <40.
Is there a way to apply other than express entry...
Thank you Desi-Girl. It is a great news indeed. Now we can try to put all those days suffered behind and start what we supposed to have started a year before.
When I the status change I said "Holy C___, finally". Here is the OMG for you. :-)
You can apply for visitors visa after the marriage. But the odds of getting it is not very strong. I got visitors visa for my wife and she stayed with me in Canada for six months until NDVO asked for the passport. Visitors visa took about 10 days to arrive.
Got an email from Ministerial enquiry department. The response is same as MP enquiry. Saying that the officer is doing the background check and it is within the normal processing time. I'm tired of this useless template response.
We don't need passport to do re-medicals. My wife did two weeks before carrying the letter they sent along with a national I.D. Driver's license, voter i.d, aadhar. But for some people they have sent passport to do their medicals again.
I don't think 'in review' and 'waiting for review' got any real difference. It is just like E-cas showing 'application received' or 'in-process', nothing assured. :)
I got an amazing response for the MP inquiry. "The file is in review"
What i suppose to make out of it. They are providing a response for the sake of giving one.
Also, MP assistant is saying frequent inquiry will slow down the process.
You can do your medicals, you have take the mail you got asking for re-medicals, along with the original National ID voter id, driving license or aadhar card. That's how my wife did re-medicals last week.
You are lucky to miss the freezing rain and the power cut that followed. Soon you will enjoy the spring, you waited for the visa now you wait for warm weather but this is perpetual.
I believe you had a warm (LoL) welcome here. Hope you adjust to jet-lag quickly.
Did they give the SIN at the immigration itself? That's new, i guess.
Did you submit the hard copy of photos?
