I did Mp enquiry twice she confirmed of not missing ppr before ppr there is a need of background check. So didn't thought of applying gcms notes. I am tired of waiting our first marriage anniversary is near hope she get decesion before our anniversary.

Hi...
The application is for my wife, and well she doesn't really have any travel history. But she was born in UAE and lived there till she was 18. We've submitted a PCC from UAE along with the India PCC - even though it said in the GCMS notes that the UAE PCC wasn't required. So I'm really not sure why security and criminality is taking so long. Everything else is straightforward - first marriage for both of us and we have three children. I am a Canadian citizen, we were living in Bangalore for the past 10 years, and I just moved back to Canada late last year.
If you're case is straight forward you shouldn't have much to worry about. Most cases seem to move to DM within a month or so I suppose. But it's strange that you have not got the PPR yet. Did you apply for GCMS notes anytime? The same thing happened to us - apparently we were issued the PPR in March but we never received it. It was when I applied for the 1st notes in July that I found out in the notes they had already requested for passport by email. In any case following the advice on this forum, we sent the passport anyway to NDVO, and around the same time we also got a call from NDVO asking for the passport.
Do check this out - normally if the status changes to IP, they will need the passport. Best wishes to you!
