Yippie!! DM on April 3rd. Got the passport on April 5th. Visa granted on March 29th. Flying on 17th. Thanks to each and everyone of you for all your help and support! May everybody gets the visa pretty soon..

Got a call from NDVO just now - a guy called in to confirm my address. He was letting me know of the medical results expiry (May 16th) and that I may get my passport in the coming few days as they are working on my application now. It was not very conclusive from his talk as he also mentioned...

Finally, In Process!! :D ;D They started processing my application on 22nd of March. Hope it turns to DM soon.. I pray all the guys who have been waiting since long get their statuses changed soon to DM...

Ah, I see! No matter how nice they are in their response, the long wait would certainly be frustrating for the receiver..

I like their tone in this email. From what I read in this forum, it is not as offensive as the MP office's responses -- moderately empathetic too, which is good! By the way, when did you inquire? What's the turnaround time? I emailed them on 24th of September and am still awaiting their response.
