Finally my hubby got the interview call...

But were u expecting an interview call? unless you are uncomfrtable can you share with us if there is anything unusual that you can think of in your case that they called for interview? Just want to have an idea for which cases and why they call for the scary interview!!

sometime they call for interview for no reason (it could be for verification of relationship or asking for more documents) but for quota. I have feeling that they probably have to interview some people for 'quality check' purpose. Who knows how ND visa office works? it is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. It is easier to solve a rubik's cube. Ordering GCMS notes might give an idea as to why an interview is required.

Received a mail from the NDVO today. They have asked me to go for a fingerprint scan 2 weeks from now. As part of background checks. ??? ???

I really don't know why I am asked to give my fingerprints at this stage. Worrying.

God knows for how much longer this is going to be delayed. What stage is background check? Is it post eligibility and medical usually? :/

Yeap. I have been to a few countries on leisure. But I think the part to note is that I have been to Canada as well. I have heard its not unusual for them to call for fingerprints in that case.

But still - the delay is worrying
