lol yeah thts true!! who knows hw NDVO wrks!!!waiting 2 exhale said:sometime they call for interview for no reason (it could be for verification of relationship or asking for more documents) but for quota. I have feeling that they probably have to interview some people for 'quality check' purpose. Who knows how ND visa office works? it is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. It is easier to solve a rubik's cube. Ordering GCMS notes might give an idea as to why an interview is required.
oh k all d best dear.. i pray u gt d visa same day...jsandy said:yes.. its simple case.. no previous sponsorship nd interview will b at Chandigarh

Do you have any Travel History?VSN said:Guys,
Received a mail from the NDVO today. They have asked me to go for a fingerprint scan 2 weeks from now. As part of background checks. ??? ???
I really don't know why I am asked to give my fingerprints at this stage. Worrying.
God knows for how much longer this is going to be delayed. What stage is background check? Is it post eligibility and medical usually? :/
Please pray! Thanks and hugs to all waiting!
Yeap. I have been to a few countries on leisure. But I think the part to note is that I have been to Canada as well. I have heard its not unusual for them to call for fingerprints in that case.kejalmistry said:Do you have any Travel History?
If you don't mind can you tell me about travel history?VSN said:Yeap. I have been to a few countries on leisure. But I think the part to note is that I have been to Canada as well. I have heard its not unusual for them to call for fingerprints in that case.
But still - the delay is worrying
Well I had a valid visitor's visa to Canada before I got married. Hence my husband and I left for Canada after the wedding in India (me as a visitor). We applied together right away and I came back when I received the ppr. So yea less than 6 months. But still enough to be called for fingerprints.kejalmistry said:If you don't mind can you tell me about travel history?
And don't worry if something major doubt they have then they will call for interview...
How many months you stayed in Canada?VSN said:Well I had a valid visitor's visa to Canada before I got married. Hence my husband and I left for Canada after the wedding in India (me as a visitor).
