RECEIVED GOOD NEWS THIS MORNING FROM MY HUBBY!! ;D

He got the shinny visa with pp yesterday morning (indian time) SO happy! my wait is over!!

Timeline:

Application reached missisauga: March 25,2013
File transfer to new delhi: April 18, 2013
AOR: April 19,2013
PPR: April 29,2013
In Process: September 20, 2013
Decision made: October 2, 2013
Recieved pp with visa : October 4,2013

total wait of 6 months and 9 days!! woohoo all worth it. Good luck everyone and hope u all get reunited with ur spouse soon!

Who have experience og GCMS Notes Please Help..i got my GCMS notes today and not able to know about the exact status of my file like Eligibilty,medical,and sec etc..!

i applied on vfs for the return of my passport on sept 23, my ecas went to DM on the same day i.e.on the 23rd itself..
i asked to VFS people that how long would it take to get my PP back, then they replied tha it would take minimum 15 days from the day u apply for the return of ur PP...
Its been more than 10 days being my DM, but still waiting for my Passport

it takes time for the VFS nepal applicants...they are right about minimum 2 weeks... you should be getting the passport by next week for sure...gud luck

Hi I am 4th april 2013 applicant.par ab tak kuch nahi hua.status app rcd.med rcd.maine is month apni job quit kar di.but kaya karu.

They are in process of wrapping up the Jan, feb, march and 2012 applicants ...also at the same time they are in process of looking into April files...i would suggest you to wait until end of this month or mid November for some update on your file.

pls share your full timeline.

also, What do we do just call in there office and give file number and ask them to check? how how does it work. Please help me.

Generally they do not give any information about in due time , u can call or mail only in condition of address change ... U have to order gcms note , that will tell u the status and everything about your file

file does not get delayed if you ask your M.P. to investigate. Sometimes MPs might give a snapshot of the status but won't be able to give detailed explanation as to why things get delayed. For that, notes might be useful. Find your MP and give particulars such as file number, name of the sponsor and sponsored. Sign some forms. And get some answer in a couple of days (be prepared for generic answer such as 'NDVO is reviewing', 'your application is within time frame can't give you much details' blah blah or it could be 'interview waived; visa will be sent soon' blah, blah..I have heard my blah, blah once and may inquire again in a month or two to hear it again
