RECEIVED GOOD NEWS THIS MORNING FROM MY HUBBY!! ;D

He got the shinny visa with pp yesterday morning (indian time) SO happy! my wait is over!!

Timeline:

Application reached missisauga: March 25,2013
File transfer to new delhi: April 18, 2013
AOR: April 19,2013
PPR: April 29,2013
In Process: September 20, 2013
Decision made: October 2, 2013
Recieved pp with visa : October 4,2013

total wait of 6 months and 9 days!! woohoo all worth it. Good luck everyone and hope u all get reunited with ur spouse soon!

i applied on vfs for the return of my passport on sept 23, my ecas went to DM on the same day i.e.on the 23rd itself..
i asked to VFS people that how long would it take to get my PP back, then they replied tha it would take minimum 15 days from the day u apply for the return of ur PP...
Its been more than 10 days being my DM, but still waiting for my Passport

that's what they told my wife 15 working days after you applied but in your ecas its already DM mine says in process......hopefully you will get PP back in couple of days now...I am not sure about mine.....lets hope for the best do let us know once you receive the pp....good luck

I think before your visa expires. (Its a 1 time immigration visa). Some say before medical expires , but I am not sure on that part

Yes the expiry is also on there by the issue date.

I just asked my MP yesterday,,,I might get some news today or next week...I think its Ok to go only one way...

Today My husband met to MP.
They said we will say status of your file after 10 days.

Lets see what happen in my case.

its about 29 pages of GCMS Notes..
it says-Eligibility-Recommend Passed and Status update-2013-sep-4th, due date-2014-April-2009
Medical,security,criminality-Not Started and Status update-2013,march-25 here is no due date for all of them

and in 2nd last page it says..
Notes 1-File,supporting documents and photos reviewed.PA and Sponsorship are compatible.the marriage was performed in accordance cultural norms.The relationship appears to be genuine. Interview waiver recommended.file sent to office for review.
Notes 2-passport recvd

Notes 3- CSCD not entered as medical do not scan into GCMS. UMI U********* (what is that)

i passed the eligibility or not still in progress

Exctly same note before 3 days.
Only 3rd point is minor different.
1st and 2nd same to same...
In mine 3rd point is "CSCD not entered as missing the original Imm1017; only the emedical notification was submitted".
Today i meet my local medical hospital dr, and they said its not any problem.
So dont worry dear...

Well I have a complicated question and I would need help from Senior members.

I am in Canada and sponsoring my wife to come to Canada. Both of us are second marriage.

My wife during her previous marriage did apply for highly skilled immigrant visa and enter Canada with her ex-husband and stayed here for only 10 days- her previous marriage was not happy and she had to go through lots of stress, and her previous husband left her- which is indicated on the divorce order and petition.-- this is in 2006

We got married this August 2013- and I applied for sponsorship here in Mississauga and I got my application back stating:- that my wife should apply for Travel Document (Permanent Resident Abroad)- and if she gets rejected I should put that rejection in my application and submit my application again.


Well we know for sure that the residency requirement is not met-- then why is that they have to make us go through this... Is there a chance that we could get a Travel Document (Permanent Resident Abroad)-- due to compassionate reasons?

Questions:-

1) My wife has IMM documents, and expired PR card which has to submitted, with previous husbands name-- should we submit her divorce document?
2) Should I submit my divorce document?
3) Guess we should submit or marriage certificate- Special Marriage Act.
4) Should I show my CRA- returns and employment letter when my wife is submitting for her Travel Document (Permanent Resident Abroad)?-- to add that I am here to look after her?


Please advise- Thanks
