Hmm that's good to know. They may have submitted the PP later after missing the initial PPR. In our case I am waiting for the notes or some communication to come back regarding the PPR and we can send the PP over. Let's see.
Yes, submitted in June...after 3.5 months of initial PPR, don't worry just hope for the best. At least you have applied for notes and you can take necessary action on the basis of communication/ MP inquiry/ GCMS notes.

its "in process" since???

Not my ecas status. My ecas status is still 'Application & Medical received'
I'm talking about the Eligibility as 'Started - In Progress' under GCMS notes.

One news regarding MP Enquiry-
I had requested one MP from Toronto east. He emailed NDVO on Aug 12 and i got reply from him yesterday. It took 7 days to get reply from NDVO. The content of the reply from NDVO is this:
Dear Mr. Kellway
This refers to your enquiry mentioned below.
This application is currently awaiting initial review by a visa officer, following which we will contact the applicant directly to advise of any additional information or action required. We are striving to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible. We continue to meet our commitment to a service standard of 6 months to finalization for at least 80% of cases for sponsored spouses, partners and children. Processing times are calculated from the date of application approved by Case Processing Centre, Mississauga, after which it is sent to the visa office for further processing........blah blah blah

hey could you plzz do let me know after another PP gets dispatched from Newdelhi to nepal if ur courier agent lets u know...thanks..

PAFSO President Tim Edwards says he feels the union has a "slam dunk" PSLRB case for bad faith bargaining against Treasury Board #dipstrike

http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2013/08/20/pol-foreign-service-officer-strike-rally-hearing.html

Union seeking 'hefty' raise
"PAFSO has made every reasonable effort to resolve this dispute. The government has not," said Edwards. "We can only conclude that Treasury Board is discriminating against Canada’s foreign service. We are seeking judicial intervention to compel the government to negotiate in good faith."

A spokeswoman for Clement said Tuesday that PAFSO is asking for a "hefty wage hike that is neither fair nor reasonable for taxpayers."

"Our government will consider all options in finding a resolution to this strike. We remain open to a resolution that respects the interests of both taxpayers and foreign service union members," Andrea Mandel-Campbell said in an emailed response.

"In the past month we have reached tentative agreements with three other unions. In all cases the bargaining agents were willing to reach fair and reasonable settlements."

Got response from MP

INFORMATION FROM THE M.P. CONTACT’S OFFICE:
This file is only pending the background checks. Everything else is clear.

Their background check is going on since March - I am convinced they have a pundit, tantrik looking at past life now, I mean why not!

Usually mine takes 3 weels and only 1 inquiry in 6 months ( Bade laat-saab yeh log ), bu this time it was few days and asked me to contact after 3 months

I realize my folks have extensive travel history, but we furnished 2 Indian PCC's,. FBI as well ( Father had 19 trips to USA since 1981 ), Office puts comment on GCMS Notes - PA visited USA multiple times, even though none more than 3-4 weeks, it shows significant travel - request FBI. Since I knew they might ask, I had it handy ( it takes 5-8 weeks to get one )

Considering, someone with travel history should be of better standing since they made it and came back, instead it has become a headache

Yeah who knows what they are doing with the clearances. And the US clearance should be a straightforward one, the PD databases are synced for Can-US, but these guys... oh well. Hoping that the follow up is not required and glad that it came back quickly this time.

Oh and also the CIC Rep # in your signature... should be 1-888 ... I dialed the 800 and got connected to a 'friends' hotline .. had a good laugh.
