OK so I figured out tht FCU = Family Class Unit (which is where our application needs to be reviewed)
CA Review is the next stage that is pending..So maybe it is Criminality Assessment or smthing

do u have any idea about whether they have separate desk for processing the applications of different countries or they just pile up all the files at the same desk??
Not different desks for Nepal, India n Bhutan, but they can be different officers for different categories. I am pretty sure that our case is handled by one officer. I mean one officer for one case until the DM. No other officer touch it.

I have blood relative uncle in Canada...fathers big brother...

Can i apply in Family Class?
I don't think your uncle can sponsor u. I mean No family category (FAM)... BUT if you want to apply under FSW1, and your uncle can provide u 10 mark which will make you eligible in FSW1 category. More research is required

Hi guys ,
Can we pay for gcms notes using a debit card ? coz my wife doesn't have credit card! coz of this problem we applied in offline mode by sending the forms and a check for 5$ to cic as advised by a travel consultant. It's nearly 18 days nw, still the money is not yet credited nor we received any acknowledgement.
Wat to do now?

You need to pay by credit card as we have also tried earlier using debit card but payment was failed. Also you will get acknowledgement via email after successful payment.

Had applied for information yesterday under ATIP.. got an initial notification that I should get it in 30 days, then a follow-up came early today morning saying that PAFSO's strike is going to affect that timeline.
Don't know how much will that add to the information request timeline, hoping its not too much based on the fact that the processing seems to have picked up over the past week and it seems people are getting back to work.

does the ATIP notes (GCMS) request has to come from my lawyer or can I apply on my own (in the sponsored person consent form IMM5744E, I will put my email address I suppose ...for section 3 immigration consultants of Canada number and email address)? If I apply on my own with my email provided in the form, will the future correspondences still go to my lawyer or to me?
