Congrats to Arjun and Shelly....when our turn will come, everyday logging on cici.gc.ca with lie hope something may be changed n wid fear it must be application revived status....Oh God you make everybody luck different but why you make it unfair. ....anyway stay positive n will get good news.

does the ATIP notes (GCMS) request has to come from my lawyer or can I apply on my own (in the sponsored person consent form IMM5744E, I will put my email address I suppose ...for section 3 immigration consultants of Canada number and email address)? If I apply on my own with my email provided in the form, will the future correspondences still go to my lawyer or to me?

You can apply on your own and the status info will come to your email address. If thats what you add in the process of filling up the form and in the consent form.

Also, the email address you provide for the ATIP will only get information for it. The correspondence email does not change for the case. That will still continue to go to the address / email that you had in your original PR application.

Others may be able to add more info or correct me if I have made a slip.

GOOD NEWS !!!!!


Just received a call from my wife, who got a call from the immigration firm we filed our application with, saying that NDVO have asked me to pick up passport on august 20 next week. Decision has been made and I got my visa. Can't wait to see my lovely wife !!!!
