Also keep checking ur E-cas...if it goes "in-process" post interview it usually means you have met the eligibility i.e marriage is genuine

Hi,
I filed my application on Jan 2nd and for PPR on 9th March. Today after 2 months, My wife had an interview with CHC. In that interview they asked about how long we were together after marriage, husband name, DOF, address, and few more general question.

Could u please tell me what's going on? Does it mean they opened her file. Please let me know if somebody have an answer.

Thank you
Ohh... thats a good sign. I guess, your eCas status is changed to "In Process" now... can confirm us on it... and soon you might be getting the good news... :)
Gud luck buddy.

Hi Sa8790, did NDVO call your wife before to notify that a phone interview will take place? Also, good luck to you as they've started processing your file.

Dear All,

This is a request for all who read/write on this forum.

I am looking for an Indian couple (Canada PR holder) who did interfaith marriage (very specific Hindu-Christian faith) and got their spouse visa approval from New Delhi Visa office (outland)

I would appreciate if you can share what all information you had provided during your spouse application. Any specific details in particular were provided or were asked by Visa office later in the processing stage (may be in interview or email/letter sent by CIC asking for more information) which would help other (even me) in curtailing the processing time for the spouse visa.

Hey there ! I too am married to Hindu , but I am not really of any particular denomination , although it's assumed by most I guess that I would be Christian ? I have not yet come across any issues but the process is still not done yet .... Now I'm nervous too ..?

How can religion be an important part of marriage ? I'm not any particular religion and neither is my husband , but we did the traditional Hindu thing as the parents and family wanted to be appeased. Is there any thing wrong with that ?

Congrats dude! The sharing of your experience gives me hope as it seems like they have started processing for Jan.
Can you give little more details on the phone interview such as how long was it and what other general questions if it's ok to share?
That should give us some general info to be prepared. Thanks!
Good luck to all of us!

Most of us have received AOR/SA notifications through emails.
Based on the spreasheet for 2013 delhi applications, the average to get SA seems to be 26 days. Good luck to receive it soon!

I was having the same question, Gupta.
It seems to me, this is based on Sa8790's message on the phone interview as his application was received on 07Jan13.
