Hello Friends,

I didn't get a chance to check E-cas in over a week and today when I checked it shows... DECISION MADE!!!! It doesn't say what the decision is i.e. whether it is a positive or a negative one! All it says is that the office will get in touch regarding this decision!

The address in E-cas hasn't changed to the Canadian address either. Haven't received any communication from CHC as yet. Don't know what to expect! I hope the decision is a positive one!!!

does second marriage really delays the PPR?

I assume it does, since they do investigation on previous marriage.. Every little thing in our file matters when it comes to time because the more complicated the file, the more time they take in investigation.

i got ppr 3 weeks back. i sent passport to chc. but on the envelope which i sent by courier, i just wrote my name, address and phone number in the from section and on the front , just their address. is it compulsury to write file number on the envelope as well. i did not write because of security reasons but now i am worried. but as they requested, i attached print out of email which i got from cic and the file number was written over there. my concern is will they attach my passport successfully to my file. or any chances of misplace. should i write them email to confirm if they got my passport on my file?

I think if you sent by courier ? And check the tracking that's the best you can hope for .emailing them and asking for that confirmation, most likely is a waste of energy , because they won't answer and then u will worry more ... Lol . If you have confirmation of delivery then you should rest your mind on the topic best of luck !!

I dont think you should worry.. If you have attached a letter inside which has a file number.. for sure they will put it at with your file... I didn't read anywhere where it says you have to put file number on the envelop.

I would suggest you apply for GCMS notes.

Just an FYI, even for people who has got PPR at that time, there is no further progress after that. I guess for few members, they get PPR at the end and once they get PPR, with in 2 - 3 weeks they get it back with Visa stamped in it... anyways, there is no harm in applying for GCMS notes.
