As you can tell I am extremely impatient and an excessive worrier.
Honestly aren't we all a little tired of being patient?

I can understand what u goin thru...if I was in yr place I wld be goin mad waiting by the door waiting for the mail....o man lucky u ....u r finally thr...don't know how long we have to suffer...I miss my hubby...7 months of marriage and not even started my married life...but im positive im goin in sept for sure strike is on or not yupiee ;D ;D ;D

I applied for my husband sponsorship application from Canada on march 28 2013, file reached new delhi april 22nd 2013.Medicals and police clearance all done. How much time would it take?

No it is the opposite, it is saying interview required at the beginning of those comments. So it is really stressful! We have no idea why they dont believe that our relationship is genuine. We met while working on cruise ship, we knew each other for 2 years before getting married. It is not like we never met before getting married or meeting each other on web or any fraud looking things. Just a nice love story... And it seems that they cannot believe that a canadian (non indian origine) and a Indian citizen can just fall in love and wish to be together forever... We are feeling so frustrated about the way they are processing our application...

Don't worry, Anishka! In VO's point of view, they might wanna make sure that is not marriage of convenience just for getting PR.
If there is a statement about interview required in the notes, it might be just for the sanity check.
In your case, it should be a straight forward question answer session (if there is an interview).
You can start gathering all the essential documents in full swing to prove your relationship is genuine.

My timeline is also similar to as that of your's. Don't know how long it's going to take....

Are you using the UCI or File number ? Make sure you put in the correct information in correct format.

- If you are the sponsor then try your UCI number with your DOB last name and country of birth.

- If you are being sponsored then Try the file number with your DOB, Last name and Country of birth.

You are right, just go for GCMS notes without any further delay as NDVO usually requests PP within 30-50 days of file transfer.

I think it is more because my husband refuses to acknowledge that he is coming to Canada until he gets that passport. I told him to start packing and saying good bye but I think he is afraid it is all too good to be true. Especially because of the strike, and how slowly things have been going here.

I have no idea why they choose to process ours and give us DM before still so many people, but I am thankful. Truly grateful.

I just hope they go back to work soon because I know there will be so many DM's.
I am reading the 2012 ND forum and some weeks they got 10 DM's. You know the strike has affected the 2013 applicants very badly. We haven't seen that many DM's in a total 2 months let alone a week!
