Folks..looking at the current situation I dont think we should expect any changes/update before Aug 24th. Everyone is just sitting on it..PAFSO..TB..Govt...Media included.

Talking to different people working for the Govt. in Ottawa I have learned that Tony Clement is a Nut Case who will not be blackmailed by PAFSO.

As for Harper..its a known fact that this Conservative Govt. gives a damn about Immigrants and their families and this is the reason no action has been taken by this Govt.


So...have lots n lots of patience..keep urself busy and wait for ur PP to come back with Visa stamp! (insha allah)

I have received my GCMS notes today and as per them the PPR was sent on 25th May, 2013 which I haven't got by mail/email. Please guide me how should I proceed now. Shall I send my Passport directly along with the printout of notes or is there any other option.

i would advice you to check your email inbox... spam folder, all possible optins... check your mailing address etc. also check your notes and see if email address and postal address are mentioned corectly... check again and if you see everything is good then write a mail to CHC delhi stating your GCMS notes and also call CIC call centre from canada to see what can be done.. they might be able to answer.. .dont send passport without the letter (GCMS wont be considered as official document)

Double check everything including emails,folders and mails..if you do not find it...try to contact NDVO, CIC...There are chances NDVO forgot to send you the PPR email and

system was updated. I know this is frustrating and at this point this could delay things another couple of months....... I wont send them the passport without the PPR email or letter or any other proof requesting your passport.....Best of luck.

GUys , I received my GCMS noted today. There is lot of stuff in there which I am trying to understand in detail. But from the outlook I see the last time they touched my file was on July 2nd and the last notes are the relationship appears to be Genuine, "Interview waver recommended"
Also came to know that they received the passport and medicals passed.

In process in Security and background check.

Now at least I know they have my wife passport and interview waved.

Today I reached double century since I filed my application... it is 200th day today. Some times I feel like leaving my job and going back to India and come back once my wife gets PR and start all over again here...

Yes.. thats a good news... interview waved means all the documents are perfect and officer is convinced that the relationship is genuine... so it is waiting for your security and criminality to be completed... same for me too...

I understand..going through the same here....been to India for a week but it was very quick trip....only reason i m here because of a good job i have...sometime i wish they fire me for some reason and i can happily go back to my wife and family...

I have already checked my email box and folders, and trying to contact NDVO from last 2 months, but as usual no reply from their side.

Huh even I am not sure where exactly it is written.
But I know it is somewhere in the notes
Bring forward date/ due date is something written...May be you can check the notes for some future dates?
Just a suggestion hope you will find out..
Another thing if your file was last updated on July 2nd then due date is 1-2 months from that date...so If that is the case hope your wife gets Visa by Sept 1st week fingers crossed

I thought u already sent ur passport as u mentioned in ur previous comment that ur passport is with embassy already.. its confusing.
