So I just made an online request for GCMS notes on the website- Access to Information. I paid the $5. But they never asked me to get consent from my spouse for whom I am requesting the information for. I filled out my name as the requester and his name as the person I want info for. Paid and then that was it. Am I missing something? Can someone help because I would hate to have just wasted $5.

Read properly what I wrote........ I SAID THAT I HEARD FROM A FAMILY FRIEND AS SOMEONE FROM NDVO TOLD THEM.
I ALSO THINK THE STRIKE IS NOT OVER YET CAUSE PAFSO DIDN'T SAID ANYTHING. I AM FOLLOWING THEM SINCE THE STRIKE.

Lol I dif same thing and about week or so later got email saying I needed to do consent form and I had 30 days to do it and email back to them or else I would have to reapply. You will get email from them also

I don't think so..try contacting them or do a new one...

Anyway i wont worry about CAIPS until my file is delayed for no reasons...CAIPS wont help at this point.

You could email in advance but on email instructions it said to make sure the file number that they sent in email
Email will come from this address: ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca
