Had DM made last week on monday its been a week and still no passport back. My wife lives in Nawanshahr Punjab. Any ideas why its taking so long to get passport back??

if you are sponsoring your wife and its been since May I can say file is in Stage 2 and in Delhi. So you can stay as long as you want in India with wifey. It will not affect anything

same here bro. My wife's application went to in process on oct 15 and DM on November 3. Tell now no passport she is in punjab but in Nawanshahr. I guess it takes long if in punjab to get back

Check your email to make sure u didn't miss something. Check spam folder also. Order gcms notes to see if anything in there. What does ecas status say?? Seems strange they would just send passport back without a note saying why

u can call the doctor to confirm or order GCMS notes and it should have there. It took 6 months on ecas for it to show medicals received on wife's application
