What i think is - forget everything thats before her marriage. After marriage, and under spousal sponsorship, she is fairly clean. Its a new beginning.

do not worry for a month. Average sponsorship approval check time is 28 days. you might get response when they forward your file to NDVO. It happened true to me. Applied Feb 5, got forwarded and got letter Feb 21.

You are exactly on the track, do not worry. Principal applicant usually gets an email from CIC before the file is forwarded to NDVO. Since everything is in random order now, do not panic. I do not smell-a-rat on your application process.

As long as there is a busines, there is no free service. VFS helps to get the passport back (I think you got an optional letter from NDVO to take to VFS office). VFS is relatively cheaper than other renowned commercial couriers.

good morning guys, there is an update ! My wife got an email from VFS - NDVO dispatched passport to VFS office at delhi/chandigadh. But there is no change in ECAS. it still says in-process. she might get this in Kathmandu after a couple of days. I am so eager to meet her :-*
