Hi Everyone,

Could anyone with same experience help me understand what to do please? My husband received an email from NDVO for remedical today.

There is only one attachment called "Re-assessment form" and they are asking for below. where do we get the rest of the forms?

Chest Xray with report
Completed MEDICAL REPORT CHEST X-RAY REQUISITION AND REPORT form (Page 5 and 6 of IMM5419).
Duly completed Re-assessment Form (this we got as attachment but do we fill it or the physician?)

panel physician will fill it not you...just take this photocopy of email's...and show them what are things to do...
don't worry panel physician knws everything just ask them every question they will give u right answer. ..
take with you all the id proofs. ..
all the remedical applicants received this kind of same letter. ..so don't worry. .

Thanks Rksandhu for your quick reply, so this means we don't need to bring any other forms except the one that they sent us (Re-assessment form)

Hi guys
spousal visa which we all applied for is it also known as migrant visa because jet airways baggage limit is 40 kgs for migrant visa travelling outside India first time only.
Thought i will share this for the people who r departing to Canada.

I would call the airline and confirm with them. If that is also for your case since you are sponsoring your spouse to come to Canada as a permanent resident.

link is below scroll to the end to find out what i am talking about

http://www.jetairways.com/en/ca/baggage/checkedbaggage.aspx

They follow a 2 piece concept like most of the other airlines to US and Canada wherein u can carry 2 checked in baggage not weighing more than 46 kgs in total and each baggage not exceeding 23kgs..

With gods grace she is finally united with her husband. Her husband is here in Canada now. But it took them 2 years because she had to do the whole process twice.
Also I have heard from laywers and agents that according to CIC rules you have to be married with your spouse according to the rules of the country your spouse is from. Unless there is a valid reason you were unable to have the ritual wedding I do not think CIC accepts such cases. And by valid I mean maybe there was emediate death in the family due to which wedding could not take place. Such reasons can maybe pass by without CIC objecting. Last bit is just my view point.
But your best bet would be to consult an expert before you apply or even better getting an expert on board with your case rather than doing it on your own.
And np that's what we are all here for, to help each other. :) good luck with your processing hope it all works out in the end.

Thank you my friend.

Hi,
Last week i got the re med mail from NDVO and I completed my re med this monday after getting an appointment from panel physician. I took the print of email I got from NDVO, the attachment they sent along in mail, form IMM5419 page 6 & 7 , 3 photographs, color print of passport (if you do not have your passport with you and already submitted to NDVO). Take 2 copies of each of these. Apart from chest x ray, they will do the basic height, weight, eye check, BP check to fill in their recommendation forms.
Do not fill anything, it just takes 5 minutes for test and they will take a photograph of you which they will attach to their forms and courier it to NDVO. Please call them after 3-4 days and ask for a track number of courier so that you can be tension free. It charged me Rs.1100.
