I think they are picking up file randomly at this point. I dont know what criteria they follow but it looks like people from december and november are getting their IP status noww even people from aug are still waiting. I think its purely based on the file and the VO processing the case.

All the best but to let you know all 2013 guys I am 2014 april applicant and as if none of the 2014 applicant heard from NDVO so far I guess. So 2013 is still on fire !!! All the best folks !!

What the hell is happening at the NVDO. This is ridiculous....no offence to the nov/dec 2013 applicants but there are aug-oct 2013 applicants out there who haven't even had their files touched/ Every day i check and all i get is application received! This is unfair ! the worst thing is we cant even do anything about it
So bloody frustrated!!

files are not processed sequentially....how fast your file is processed depends on various factors - background checking; complete file; no red flags; and visa officer - the longer it takes the more likely there is an interview scheduled. If your status has not changed for more than 6 months, order notes, contact MP and see if an interview has been recommended...

Got notes today

Eligibility:- passed no interview for sure - they happy with evidence.
Criminality:- not started
Security:- not started (both due October)
Medical passes:- but expired this month (we didn't get a remedical request)
PCC - expires August (will there be a need to submit new PCC ? - will need passport for this)

It shows that we need PCC from Kuwait. In notes it shows send email and letter request for PCC.
But this does not show in outgoing mail- as we didn't get this PCC request from CIC for Kuwait.

Any comments and suggestions ? What could happen next guys?

My file also in FCU-FCR, according to notes generated on 15 june. I suppose they do " Criminality Check" at this stage.

NDVO processes cases chronologically, based on date of application received at CPC, MISSISSAUGA... they fast forward the straight-forward cases... if any AUG-SEPT 2013 candidate has not received any letters from NDVO by now, order notes from you local MP in Canada... here is the link...

The movement is to those files where there is no remedical. To improve their statistical performance they do this. God only knows what they are up to.

i am Canadian citizen, applied PR for my husband from new Delhi visa office in March 2014. CPC transferred his file to india in the first week of May. On 12th May he was asked to supply Right of landing fee and PCC. Both things were delivered to CHC new delhi on 14th(Payment receipt for landing fee) of May and 28th (PCC) of May. What would be the next? Online status showing" Application Received".

I would appreciate if you share your experience .

This whole process is frustrating, and politics play a major role. I am an Oct 30 2013 applicant. No communication and local MP is not that help full. I noticed November applicants are getting visa.

wait...wait....zzzzzzzzzzzzzz..wait some more time for about 10 months (jan 2015) to see any kind of movements....check ecas rarely ; check this forum (checking everyday to see if anything happening to your March 2014 applicants will drive you insane) or 2014 once in a while.....

very true W2E!! But, seeing this forum has helped out in many ways from the filing of the app until now. More than anything it helps when we see movement for other applicants/seniors - otherwise it is completely a blackbox with no update.

hey everyone I need some help.. I'm completely confused. on August 2nd my husband's application went into process. we had a passport request back in January but because they had the wrong email address we had missed it.when we attempted in June to submit it they told us to wait since they had changed their system and would only require it in the final stages. now being in process I figured this is the final stages he again tried to submit it and they refused to take itsaying wait for another ppr. so 15 hour bus ride to hear wait for ppr. why wouldn't they want the passport now I'm confused!

I no expert, but just offering information. I know couple of Dec'13 applicant who have not received Passport request but their application is in Process since early August.
