couple of questions :-

As I can see people from december are getting IPs and my spouse's File was recieved on jan 6th in Mississauga . We already got PCC request and Reciept of payment letter back in march ..
1. Should we send his passport to NDVO and take a risk or we just have to wait until PPR comes??? as I can expect his IP anytime in 2-3 weeks
2. Can they delay IP as his passpprt is not with them?
and I am due for my delivery next week on 13th of august ...
3. Should I plan to go to India after my baby's born or just wait as already people from dec are getting IP's .... I am so confused ... ??????

No pl don't send the passport unless asked. Generally it is sent along with some document additionally as they expect a mail and along with it it is recd as we never get ack from them we will be in tension always.
Having passport does not reduce process time. Once the process time increased to 13 month average they are asking PP at a later stage.
Validity of visa is based on the expiry of medical expiry as such you know better when to travel. If visa expiry date is not suitable inform them on your status child birth and date of travel. You need to get passport visa for child visa. Congratulations on the new arrival

sunsweet, any news? is ur case straightforward? I think they are looking for super-straightforward cases....even if they are then also they dig and bring forth something....well guys, im not negative, ndvo is working as well...just at times one gets sarcastic, though I hate to do that

How long does it take the visa officers in India to issue the visa and send the passport back? My wife's status changed on E-CAS from Medicals Received and to Decision Made on July 31, but she has not received the passport back yet. Any help would be appreciated. People say that it normally takes about 10 days. If she doesn't get it by then, should I do an enquiry?

Might have got stuck up due to week end Visa might have been despatched Mon Tue only. Depending on location travel deliver is delayed. Anytime postman would knock your door with the registered mail donating your passport visa. Be cool.

note:- remedical applicants will have to wait a little more time coz the bring forward date of ur files will be usually after 2 moths from the date of ADR or remedical request. so i guess they have assigned a date for ur file and they will open it only on that day even if u send ur ADR in 2 or 3 days. so wait patiently a little more time, as well as pray well.

Congratulations. Being a Quebec applicant you have to get an additional sanction of CSQ. Inspire being Nov 24 applicant you got it fast giving lot of hopes to applicants hat NDVO works fast. Stay blessed wish you a speedy visa Happy journey.

They will send by registered post only. Only for those whose visa expiry date is less than a month and reside nearer to Delhi they call to collect the passport.

Guys is there any difference between letters of remedicals within 7 days or 60 days...does that mean remedicals asked for 7 days take less time to process file and change into DM....mine was asked within 7 days.....

They may be almost finalised the DM and they need medical validity for issuance so they might have asked you within 7 days.
When they give 60 days time the medical scrutiny would be done by another department.

I got asked for 7 days and they still haven't given my wife VISA
waiting2exhale got asked for 30 days and he got it before me....
