I got asked for 7 days and they still haven't given my wife VISA
waiting2exhale got asked for 30 days and he got it before me....

There is no logic...

that's because i am special..lol .....they did not ask for passport; did not inform about interview; found out only through notes and case specific inquiry and that too no idea what time the interview was in the notes or case specific inquiry...so after giving these punishments they threw some bones (like giving 30 days time for submitting remedicals) to the hungry dog...if you start analyzing their actions then you will go crazy....

AOR stands for "Acknowledgment of Receipt."

An email you get from CIC confirming that your application has been received.

Hello 1272,
AOR1 goes to the sponsor, and AOR2 goes to the applicant.
You can apply for notes to confirm that NDVO has correct email address of the applicant.

Got notes today

Eligibility:- passed no interview for sure - they happy with evidence.
Criminality:- not started
Security:- not started (both due October)
Medical passes:- but expired this month (we didn't get a remedical request)
PCC - expires August (will there be a need to submit new PCC ? - will need passport for this)

It shows that we need PCC from Kuwait. In notes it shows send email and letter request for PCC.
But this does not show in outgoing mail- as we didn't get this PCC request from CIC for Kuwait.

This whole process is frustrating, and politics play a major role. I am an Oct 30 2013 applicant. No communication and local MP is not that help full. I noticed November applicants are getting visa.

I just talked to my lawyer(lier) this son of a b****tch is telling me that you have to count 13 months from the day file was moved to India not when AR comes up on cic website.
Until now I was thinking that Application received date from there then on u count 13 months.
Now before I go for maa be**n ki with him please confirm that AR date is what we use to count 13 months.

No brother u r right they are like that unki m... kii bh...... ki to karni hi i did even told my representative i am teelling any one to contact u any more or neither i am suggesting u to any one .... it was our hard earned money they just took to validate the file it was such a waste and people shld apply by themself no need of these morons......

Hello Kavitha,
Our files go through many stages of processing and locations in NDVO.
One poster in December 2013 mentioned following sequence of locations as per his GCMS notes

ALU -> FCU-CA Room -> Registry -> FCR-FCU -> SC01504 -> FCU-DIS -> FCU-RFV

Some people reported "FCU-CA Room" stage just AFTER FCU-FCR

FCU could mean Family Class Unit of File Check Unit

And most likely
CA is for Criminal Assessment
FCR means File Check Required (FCR is assigned if there is any doubt on documents. Documents (i.e. travel docs/ certificates etc.) are verified in this stage)
SC01504 is the ID of the agent who will do initial review of your file
DIS is DecISion making stage and
RFV is Ready For Visa.

Again all these are from a quick online research I did. Input/confirmation from senior members would be appreciated.

Hey jk 2013 and Bbu plz don't use such foul languages brother..there are women's in this forum.I know it tough time and even I share the same timeline like urs.Its frustrating for everyone to be away with their spouses but believe the wait will be soon over and we all will be united with our spouses..the same thing Jk my lawyer told to me but we haven't had to trust each and everything they say..going by the current scenario they are considering the application file date not the transfer date of the files...

Did you spend more than 6 months in Kuwait and did not provide the PCC to CIC yet?

What the hell is happening at the NVDO. This is ridiculous....no offence to the nov/dec 2013 applicants but there are aug-oct 2013 applicants out there who haven't even had their files touched/ Every day i check and all i get is application received! This is unfair ! the worst thing is we cant even do anything about it
So bloody frustrated!!
