did you do remedicals after me? not sure how my getting visa is connected when you will get it.....nothing is sequential with NDVO....

It was really surprising to receive a call from NDVO office to get the medical done just after I sent this post . The lady said she is going to email me the medical form but I haven't received it yet. Should I wait till tomorrow for the email ?Is it a normal form which we can also download through the cic site or it will contain some further information about my particular case? Please suggest

the one that they will be sending contains barcode specific for you and it makes it easier for NDVO people to add data....one in the website there is no barcode I think..wait till you get form otherwise if you use the one from the website they might ask you to do it again...

Hello guys..I have 1 question to all !!
Why NDVO leave d backlogs behind & move forward ?? For ex - I'm an 8th August applicant I'm still waiting 4 my visa..I'm about to touch 11th month & nothing..there r other August applicants too who r waiting even July,June applicants r waiting.. So why they move forward leaving last month backlogs..Which make no sense...
How they work It's shocking !!

it is even worse..some 2012 applicants are still waiting to hear from NDVO about their visa situation....

How do I know my medicals are expiring????

it is a year from when NDVO received your medicals (sometimes NDVO adds couple of days or a week to your medical expiry date)..... your emedical receipt would tell you...or notes will tell you...

updated list..this is still work in progress since I took most information from the spreadsheet... I am sure there are no more Jan 2013 applicants waiting for visa...still waiting to hear from that one applicant shown on the list for Jan 2013...just a friendly suggestion don't get discouraged looking at the list..at this point I am going by what appears in spead sheet and people updating me about their status so lots of information in the spreadsheet not updated ....let me know if list needs corrections

Tried contacting my MP's office again today and here is what I was told:

-Office will not ask for status on file since documents were recently submitted to CIC and processing time on any documents is 90 days.
-Applications must be put thru same due process as every other application. Applications are worked on in order they are received.
-Embassy will not answer any questons unless their average processing time has been exceeded.
-If you have not heard anything after 13 months, our office can inquire on status.

Our application dates are very close, but you managed to get your File transferred and PPR before Pooja & me. Your IP/DM (Within next four weeks) would mean our files are getting processed which makes you 'remember in my prayers' candidate.
We will be watching your case VERY closely for any updates.

I am a September applicant...i am a Canadian citizen and waiting for my husband's DM...last week he received a phone call from someone in Delhi...and they were asking him questions about me and also the birth and status of our newborn baby...i informed NDVO that i was pregnant and my due date around 2 months ago..also i have no other business or anything in India...so im hoping it was someone from the visa office...it was a 10-15 min phone call and just questions fr my husband (kind of like a small interview)...my e-cas status is still Application Received...and they did not confirm address or d.o.b of my husband....

Any advice or thoughts on what this could be about?

Hello PC32,
Any government staff is trained to introduce himself before asking questions. If you are not sure that it was NDVO, you should call back that number to confirm.

Hi fakename...i did try calling the number back and it doesnt go anywhere...no ringing ..nothing! Also..the lady said something that shes calling from Bharat ____...i dont remember what my husband said...lol...prolly a third party company ...anyways...NDVO is the onlyy organization i have dealings with....who else is going to call my husband and ask abt me and our 3 week old baby from New Delhi? .....anyways..*fingers crossed: hoping for good news sooon!*
