Congrats!!! Seems like they are working on sundays sometimes??? And on 1rst january? Strange schedules! But that's just GREAT

W2e status changes to DM ...it has happened today !! They are working hard you see

I suspect the job of announcing change of status is outsourced to private companies in India...never heard of government workers working on Sundays...unless they get paid one and a half times more than normal rate..in any case, some one doing a good job on the weekends and he/she deserves vacation soon...

Maybe that's the reason. I also saw that they employ some workers from indian citizenship, some locals as we can say, that are really underpaid compared to the «canadian workers and officers» that's not fair. There is a section on the job offers on the canadian embassy New Delhi that's where I saw it... maybe they are working on sunday also I don't know

IT'S DM!!! I checked in the morning around 9:30AM Indian time however it was IP. Then this evening at 6:15PM the status changed to DM.

I did not receive any call for address nor my Indian address has changed to Canadian yet.

congrats...going by your earlier post, everything happened in a time frame of 10 days (11/14 - 11/25) and then a wait of more than a month to get to 'decision made' ...what a joke! I am happy for you but there is bit frustration when some people before me get their statuses changed and some people behind me get their statuses changed..while whole bunch of people in May wait for anything to happen...I know file processing is not 'first come, first served' and that's why some people get it earlier and others wait...my time will come, no doubt about it...I better meditate now...

My is also shows decision made office will contact you but still it's shows Indian address. So I am bit worried. Is any one knows this is normal

My medical was done on "15-APR-13" however as per the GCMS the expiry date is "04-MAY-2014"

I'm not sure how they calculate. I though it's valid for full 1 calendar year but it seems they graced about 20 days

You bet w2e.. their process is so damn crazy and hard to understand. You are right, per my notes, my file was all cleared by end of November but not sure what they were doing and taking so long to dispatch the passport.

And more over I completely understand how you feel when seeing other cases getting processed, especially the ones which were filed after. Hey but I read each and every post you write and you have got it in you! I am sure that this month will be your time to write "OMG"

Yeah its sad but u know u should worry about the things that are in ur hand...you or no one can do anything about it...we can talk endlessly about all this but at the end it is they who decide...

What i feel is many files were n are complete since nov and they didnt grant visas because they wanted to grant them in 2014 so that they can brag about how many immigrants came to canada and show how much they worked hard in early 2014 already !!

anupam!!! today you are getting into problems...lol..first you assumed suban as indian... now you think w2e is a woman....it is a 'he' not a 'she' ....it is hard to figure out in this forum the gender of the person writing posts...earlier in the beginning of my writing posts, I assumed some writer as a 'she' but it turned out to be a 'he' who was using 'his' wife's userid..and then after a while both of them using the same id..got confusing for a while....don't worry I am not mad at you assuming things...but today definitely is not your day!!! one of those days, huh?
