Not sure what you are asking but the following should help:

1. Medicals validity is generally 1 year (from the time ND gets it or thereabouts)
2. Visa validity follows medical validity and one should land before medicals/visa expiry
3. In recent times, CIC gave visa officers the power to extend the validity of existing medicals by requesting such extension. So far there is no existing data that any VO exercised this ability.

Hope that helps.

I am not sure a 100% but if NDVO has the authority to extend the validity of the medicals, why don't they do it? Garry Sidhu just had his interview and they asked him to redo his medicals because they were expiring in a month. They could have just extended it. So here I am thinking that NDVO cannot extend medicals.

No idea, but hang tight. I am assuming that NDVO will be working again after December is over. Right now, they are in full swing party and holiday mood.

Friends one question urgent pl. reply:-
kya usa aur india ke diplomat ke dispute se canada visa pe koi bad effect pad sakta hai ? ;D ;D ;D

I don't think it will have an effect. Only that India has banned tax-free alcohol to USA. But Canada is separate so shouldn't effect anything between India and Canada.

Chris Alexander, Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister

This talks about parents and grandparents only. What about spouses? Aren't they important as well? :'( :'(
What kind of improvements? So far there doesn't seem to be any. >:(
Government doesn't care, just putting up a facade.

or they could have let them go to Canada before medicals expiry date..there was one case with a forum member..she was asked if she could make it before the medicals expire in 2 weeks and she said 'yes' and she was given visa...even if it is few days to leave, I am sure Garry would have managed to get airline tickets

Honestly, imo, nothing stands out of those notes. Anything I would say would be entirely speculative.

Thanks,

What proof did you provided to prove the relationship???

To me it seems a quick arrange marriage.......if you don't mind can you share the date you & your wife met ?? and when the wedding took place ?? it may also help others.

I remember a person got an interviewed as it was quick wedding. The couple met and got married in matter of 7 days and the husband returned back to Canada after wedding. They filed an application after 3-4 month. Obviously, there was less time spend together after marriage which was the obvious reason in their case. BUT NOT IN YOUR'S.

first time we met in nov 2012 and engangement was also in nov 2012 and wedding was in jan 2013 and in came back in march 2013 and applied in may 2013

This worries me a lot. Are n't all arranged marriages like that?

For example, my match was arranged by elders and although I had 3 months before the actual wedding, I could not take leave from work. There was December holiday break but I did not visit India. I was too busy preparing for the actual wedding. Anyway, all these three months, there were only two instances of Skype (as my wife does not have a fast Internet) however we had phone conversations amounting to almost 5 hrs/day on average. I have provided detailed billing from the phone company showing all the calls and duration. I provided all that. Then I met my then future wife 7 days before the actual wedding on Feb 14. Then stayed until March 4th.

Nevertheless praying big time that we will not be called for an interview. It would be bad.

You can scan them and send them as attachments through case specific enquiry to NDVO. And then courier them as well when you reach India on Dec 27. It is only 9 days from now. Even if you send from Canada, it is going to take 3 or 4 days and don't forget the holidays.

Good luck,

Hi........
How these papers should be sent to ndvo??????

Don't know what will happen in my case. As my is arrange as well. Me too scared for interview after reading your case. Day 1 i met my husband. Day1-Day 2 it was decided & finalized. Day 3 Tilak. Day 6 Engagement. And 1 month exactly from Day 1 we got married(on April). 10 Day of stay after marriage. I returned in April & applied in June.

But, I provided all pics, including tilak, engagement, holi, 3days wedding, friends at wedding, honeymoon. honeymoon Tickets, plane ticket back to Canada, restaurant bill. One month call log. But didn't provide FB chat as thought that was too personal to provide. But all from my brother & sister family attended the wedding. And my husband's paternal uncle too came to attend the wedding. But still there is lack of time period, if i compare to both 'YouTube' & 'Paul harry'.

God's know what will happen in my case......

I see this as red flag, the interviewer may think that she only get married to get better life in Canada by finding work and upgrading her education. They are basically looking for how much she is interested in you and how much she knows about you rather than planning for work or education, those are under work permit or student visa issues not under family class, I would suggest focus on personal family planning rather than financial planning.
