NEW DELHI - 2013 APPLICANTS.

Hi,

I am sponsoring my husband.i am a PR in Canada.

I have completed the file for spouse visa however not submitted yet as i have some doubts which are unanswered.

Firstly: Please clear some doubts: The Form # 1344 E asking for principal applicant name. Is it my husband or me?

As per my understanding i have put my husband name under principal applicant and under personal details i have given all my details.
Now as this is an online form after filling when i click on validate, it has two boxes on the top of every page with applicant name and DOB and under these boxes my family name and DOB is appearing.Please confirm is it the correct?

2nd Question: i already have the last page of this 1344 form with my husband's sign on it as my husband has couriered the file to me with all his documents and forms attached where his signature was required and now i have to attach the rest of the pages of this form after filling it online.The concern is that my husband has sent to me the page 6 of 7 of 1344 after signing it as it requires husband and wifes signature, however On the top of the 6 of 7 page it shows my husband's name as applicant name and his DOB, where in the pages i have filled it shows my name and DOB on it. So is it ok if i attach this 6 of 7 page which shows my husband name as applicant name and his DOB on the top boxes with rest of the pages that i printed out with my name and DOB as applicant name or Shall i use fluid to hide my husband name and DOB and then put my name and DOB on the top box of 6 of 7 page. and also the pages of 1344 form which i have printed out has a 9 digit code on the bottom right of every page which is the same on all the pages however the page # 6 of 7 that my husband has sent to me with his signature doesn't have any numeric code at the bottom right, so should i put that code by pen or should i leave it as it is or do you think that its a big issue and i should ask my husband to courier me the complete 1344 form from india after signing the 6 of 7 page along with all the pages.


Please suggest.

For my wife, it shows Decision made on 11th jun 2013 and she got her passport back yesterday, june 15th 2013

Every Application is unique and different from each other and so is the processing time. Many Applicants received passport back with visa within 4 months from the date of application. But in general now a days at New Delhi they issue PR anywhere from 4 to 6 months time after the transfer of the file.

GOD knows what they are doing.Even I am confused now

I think they will not hold the passport for long not more than 120 days. I wish all will receive good news soon as waiting is really frustrating. Hope for the best within this month.

Yeah! I think so. Nothing in our hand except waiting. But there must be some sequence to see the file.

I just wanted to share THE GOOD news which me and my wife were expecting from a looooong.. time.

Our e-Cas status changed to "Decision Made" today on 06/14/2013. Below is my timeline.

Applicaton filed: 21-Jan-2013
AOR Rec'd : 04-Feb-2013
Sponsorship Approved: 14-Feb-2013
Passport requested: 09-Mar-2013
Passport rec'd by NDVO: 14-Mar-2013
Decision Made: 14-June-2013

It says "We started processing your application on June 11, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision"

Could anyone advise on how long it could take to get the address changed on E-Cas?

We're hoping to get passport stamped within 1-2 weeks.

I wish best of luck to all Jan 2013 / March PPR candidates and pray for them to be with their loved ones soon!

Please check ur spam/junk folders. I have mentioned earlier also that all the emails from Canadian Citizenship & Immigration went to my spam folder and I wasn't even aware of that. I found out when I called them and they told me that they had sent me emails while ago.

As I raised the issue before, my spouse received an email (most probably it was ppr) from the NDVO around 2 months back but with no attachment. It has been around 1 month since i raised a case enquiry but no response until now. My application is already delayed.

Anyone please share your experience on calling them and how to go about.

Following are my timelines :

Application Received on 28th Feb, 2013
Application Transferred to India on March 27th, 2013
Mail received from NDVO (without attachment) : April 18th [Most probably it was PPR looking at the trend in this forum]
Raised a case enquiry on May 15th

Don't worry!!! Most application's who have submitted in March are also having the same issue. Their PPR has been requested and nothing updated by NDVO.

Be patient and they will not re-spawned to your inquiry yet because you have to wait for 10 months in order for them to look into your file as why it has not been DM yet.
