I went with GCMS notes as i will have some docs in front of me which i can see rather than MP inquiry. But 2 days after ordering my notes, my status changed to "in-process" and i am still waiting for my notes. I am april applicant...singh_j said:

hey...you should look at NDVO process as a marathon and it has been 7 months since you had sent in your application. You are almost there and it does not help you or your spouse if you get upset over the process. There are many people who have been waiting for more than a year and half still not knowing when their interview will happen or when their file go into process or when they will get their visas. So, don't get upset and when you don't get obsessed with this whole process, you will put things in perspective. If it helps you to divert your attention from this process (talk to Myrah about the status of big boss and it helps you to get diverted), don't check your ecas or read this forum everyday. Regarding deciding your priority, sometimes you just have to take a plunge and hope for the best.suban said:
I applied in May and nothing has yet started. I read a post from one person (from trackitt) who has similar timeline like mine and who had applied for second notes that his notes shows nothing had started yet. Another person in this forum who had his status 'not started yet' for many many months till his status changed suddenly. Anything can happen with 'NDVO'. Myrah don't disappoint Canadian immigration officials...they have been waiting for your notes request. Everything at CIC is at a standstill because of you. Also, they are low on funds and your $5 would give immigration officials some Christmas bonus (if NDVO is involved in this process then they need diwali bonus). I believe in Santa Claus and he knows that I have been nice to NDVO people since May.
