Hi Roam

What was the status of eligibility in your last notes--- passed or recommended passed ? Did it say Recommended waiver and assigned to officer for review and when was ( which date ) it assigned ?
Please check which officer it was assigned to under eligilibility?

It just says recommend passed...it do not say assigned or anything.

Summerside and Roam, I can tell you mine - Under Eligibility, it says 'Recommended passed'.
Also, under Notes, I have 'Interview waiver recommended. File sent to office for review' and this was updated on 17th May. Updated by AM01401.

My Ecas has been showing (1) Application received on Jan 16 and (2) Medicals Received. and the status is stil 'Application received'. Not yet changed to 'in process'.

Is it ever possible on earth for it to go directly from 'Application Received' to 'Decision made'?

we are almost same to same...I too applied once in July and notes received in Aug say not started. Again applied in Sep and received couple of days back and still the same not started which was generated on 10th Oct. Now I see status change as in process on 15th ...not sure whats going on.

Yes, almost the same.. mine was generated on 13th October.

Yes, almost the same.. mine was generated on 13th October.

So the file hasn't been touched since 17th May ? Holly..... NDVO Sucks...
Please check right under eligibility..recommended passed... Assigned by and Assigned to

Looks like files are reviewed by some Junior officer on time. He /She puts notes as recommened passed.. blah..blah.blah and forwarded to officer for review. After that nothing happens for months and one fine day it will change to In process whenever that officer feels like to work.

I think Security and Criminality is being done once eligibility has been "Passed " and status change to In Process.
If we apply for notes once ECas is showing In process for long time, it might show Security and Crminality In Process.

Holy Smokes!!! 13th May that scares me coz I got my notes yesterday and it stated "Recommended Waiver" . This was updated on 16th Sept. Do you have any travel history? and yes it is definfately possible to get DM directly as lot of ppl in 2012 got that but I haven't seen much of them this year.

Yea..... Things are crazy in NDVO. Not sure how do they process files ?
Files which have been already assessed and have recommendations to waive interviews as relationships are genuine sit there for months with no action. People who are waiting for interviews are not being scheduled for months. Typical government functioning..
