MY CASE IS STRAIGHT FORWARD CASE BOTH ARE IN YOUNG AGE GROUP. FIRST MARRIAGE FOR BOTH. NO TRAVEL HISTORY.

Interview went well,most of the questions related to marriage.After the interview she told that she is satisfied that marriage is genuine.As medical is expired,they are going to send me mail for remedicals and she returned my passport.

Hi guys,

I am at the office and have limited time so have to keep it brief (sorry):

Wife went to interview:

VO was rude and quite unreasonable.

VO kept questioning wife on marriage pictures and kept insisting on why a specific ceremony was not performed. VO could not grasp the concept of our marriage being done according to our culture and family traditions, and the ceremony VO kept talking about was performed but in a different manner, per our family tradition.

VO did not look at all other proofs that wife had taken along with her.

VO called me in Canada to (again) ask me about a specific ceremony and even called in another VO who also acknowledged that the ceremony in question can be performed differently.

VO even called one of my wife's friends asking (somewhat) personal questions about me - which was unbelievable, generic questions would be understandable.

All the VO ended with was "you will be notified of the outcome via phone" - VO did not confirm if she was satisfied or not. Both the wife and I said we have tons of proof to prove that our relationship/marriage is genuine and are more than willing to clarify any doubts, but VO just responded with "no". :'(

It was really nerve wrecking and a really concerning experience for both of us, especially wife.

At this point we are both so scared and confused as we can't make heads or tails out of this... The least the VO could have done is given us a confirmation or be reasonable enough to hear us out...

The ONLY consolation I have is from reading this forum that VO did return the original proofs - which I am thinking is a good sign? (Even when the VO returned the originals, VO basically pushed/slid them over the table to the wife in a very rude manner... ) - Still wife's original birth certificate and other docs are at NDVO...

Oh, and VO also said to wife that her medicals have expired and that she will need to do them again. (Good sign?)

OH, even more shocking was VO asked my wife for her passport and when we have already submitted it back in march 2013. Wife said she has confirmation from delivery company and VO brushed her off and said "I'll look into it here..."

Have to get back to work guys, will provide additional details later and would appreciate any feedback you guys can provide.
