Its a good fight..not bad...and its fun to fight on issues like this..and yes let him wait for passport. It will hardly take 4-5 days if u r in a city.

Oh it didn't!! I just checked this afternoon and it said application processing and now i thought I should check again and it said "Decision Made" but this is what is says now -

"We received your application for permanent residence on July 12, 2012.

We started processing your application on January 28, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Hey Mumble I am so sorry to hear about this! But I just want to say that if the MP said 2 weeks, it could be that after 2 weeks your passport was supposed to be dispatched? I am not saying be patient and I am not saying it will come because I will be the biggest hypocrite to say so. I cried everyday and I also came to a point where my marriage was in questioning of existence and the worst part was I just came to Canada in September 2012 and they asked for my husband's visa. our future plans were to start business and when they asked for his passport, everyone said that his passport will be returned in 15 days!! and so i was encouraged to start the business and get everything set up in time for him to come. it took me 3 months to get everything ready and i was still waiting for any news to come!! I started up business in December and forcefully due to a family function and because my husband wasn't here, I had to go visit him back in India for just 10 days. in that time my work suffered and I bought ticket so much more expensive then i would have ever had to buy if i had some early planning. and all i did was complain about going. but when i landed in delhi and saw my husband and finally hugged him....let me tell you this, it was all worth it!!

I also want to tell you that I sent in 3 email queries to them and I went to the Canadian embassy New Delhi personal trying to inquire as well, even though they didn't take any inquiries in person, I mentioned in my last email that I went!! and i am not sure if that made an impact on their decision making but i guess we will find out. all i know is, i needed to do it for my satisfaction and i was told by many not to put in so many inquiries but oddly enough when i went to CHC Delhi, the guards (now am not sure if they were just bluffing) told me to email them as many times as i want and even told me to write urgent on top of the email!! they tend to reply sometimes!!

I don't know how this will help you...all i'm trying to say is don't think of your husband coming to india as a waste of money or time...and make the most out of it, kind of like a second honeymoon ... and I will pray for you that you get to go back with your husband and that too soon!! you are in my prayers!! Everyone here is!

Arre issue yeah hai ki, ek baar bola two weeks main aayega..then i should come. Nahi dena hai two weeks main to bol do na, nahi aayega. I did shopping for third time last week...cleaned bags packed partially, so that I could fly as soon as I get visa. Abhi they put me in a pressure cooker. Kiss pe bharosa rakhe samaz main nahi aata. We are going to update MP, but even we are planning to ask him not to inquire any further. Thank God we did not inform many people from family about the reply we got two weeks ago. But parents ko pata chala. Now everytime I try to forget it, I get another question from parents.

Given the fact that we did not get visa in the time stated by MP, I am worried that last stage main they did some kidas.

I also think it wont happen with you guys. Our case was an excellent case of bad timing.

I have same questions as Chitraajay.

With great power comes great responsibility. Embassy needs to understand that instead of well..you know what I mean.

hmmm No comments as I don't know there processes coz its not straight forward. Yesterday mom was saying that she feel bad seeing me away from my wife. It has been a year and we had not seen each other after she left for Canada once we got married. Sad part was that Dad passed away just two weeks after my marriage and it has been a tough time. But my trust is in God and all my peace and joy is in Him.

Will pray for you. A day will come when there will be so much of joy that you will forget about all these sorrows So don't worry.
