Hey btw, if my husband comes here, does the CIC needs to be informed? just want confirmation.

If you don't mind me asking, does your Husband have PR or is he a Citizen? and how long is he coming for? Because there's no rule anywhere that said I should inform CHC but for some reason my consultant always said that me staying in India is going to affect our case which I never understood why but all I can say is, if there's a set time as to how long he's coming for, then I suggest that you send in an online query asking once again of your status and mentioning that your husband had to forcefully come back to India as there's been no response from them and in that also mention how long your husband will be in India for!!mumble said:Thank you. I don't think they have to be either but it's good to inform them if in case it is an issue for the sponsor to be in India!! I never knew this one but my consultant always told me it's a good idea for them to have this information that I do plan on coming back to Canada and not settling down in India!! But I'm not a 100% confident about itmuksi said:I don't think they have to be informed about it.

As far as I know, if he's coming for 2 weeks he doesn't need to inform CIC. Can't remember where I read that. On this thread or some other thread. This is because as a PR he needs to be residing in Canada. Since he's taking leave from work, that proves he's still living there but only here on a visit.mumble said:Thank you. This was soothing.

Your decision made is not based on Medical date, it is based on application filed date.
They work in queue, so now they started processing Aug Applicants and previous ones in which they require more time.
I did send them in EMail in October that I am coming in Diwali, please grant me Visa since they already had my passport for more than a month.
They did reply to me in January 20th thought that you need to fill consent form from your wife in order to provide info on your file. May be that pushed them.
Thirdly, my spouse passport has my name as husband name so that definitely helps and expedite the process.
Fourth, I was so confident about my application filled forms, docs, 160 page docs and 200 pics. I didn't leave any stone unturned before applying after 3 months of my marriage.
Lastly...Two P's...Patience and Positivity.
thanks everybody..hoepfully get my wife's PP back in 10 days so i come and dilwale dulhaniya le jaayenge..haha
