whats the other option to update mailing address?

There is a link you will see on ecas just below your address. But I have never tried it and I do not know the impact it may have on processing. May be some senior members here may be able to tell you. I think there was someone who has faced a similar issue.

I am thinking we were in fact unlucky to have our ecas status go 'In Process' since sept 26th. I wish there were enough words to vent out my frustration. Only words I can utter are the ones I cannot post in public forums. Enough is enough.

I never thought I would touch the 180 day mark when I applied. My consultant told me that my case is so simple, it should take four months or so.

You are right we are really unlucky to have our application in process from last 40days noww... This is really big time crapp.... Wats wrong with ND... I guess over 90% people got their DM or address changed from in process status within 2weeks...

Once I thought that my whole process would be done by mid October after being in process on 26th september but nothing went right....except frustration, anger....

ajay it depends on few things. which city is ur wife in?

Thats really bad.... Thats wat ND ppl are...totally unpredictable.....
But if your MP told your wife that you will get an interview call, then you might be receiving an email or phone call or possibly by mail....

And it all depends on interview, if it goes well and if VO is satisfied then they normally sent out passport with visa within 2-3 weeks....

nd just a quick note you have to live with your bf/gf for a year before filing your pr.....note you have to give extensive amount of paper work to show that because if your other half is in Canada and you in India that is impossible to do...so your case will be rejected rite away... gud luck

I have received a letter asking to send my passport to ND. I'm travelling and may send it after a month...Do you know if there is a time period within which I shud submit it?
