Hi,
Interview went well. But they have asked for a specific court pronouncement and had given us 60 days time. We are just hasseled to get this pronouncement as indian court OMG.

Can some one tell me if the court pronounce ment can not be obtained within 60 days can an extension be requested. Do they permit such request ?

Hi guys,

went thru all the threads and didn't see a thread for all the New Delhi VO applicant thread.

I recently got Sponsor approval on 25th June 2012 and now waiting for passport request from new delhi

on average , it takes anywhere from 15 days to 30 days to get passport request after the file reaches new delhi ..

my ecas is now updated to "Medical received"
Hi Zearus! I saw u had some posts on canadian background checks. please answer me too. my case is spousal sponsorship for PR. i was called at New delhi VO on 28th nov 2013 for fingerprints . Since then i got no update from them. Before that interviwe n medical were done in October 2012. my husband went for MP enquiry on 16th jan 2014 they say my application has been hold for background check. how much time they gona take for it bcz m waiting for my PP request. please reply................

does anybody got visa recently? I sent in my Passport second time in end of october. Is it usual time or it is taking long??? I'm waiting since almost 22 months, Should I write "Mandamus" to Immigration? Please suggest....

I Think a lot of us are waiting... were all stuck in the same spot... I don't know but has NDVO forgotten 2012 files we hardly get any updates or visa`s, 2013 batch is moving really fast ( which is great.). Its been 15 months since my application too.. My suggestion is keep emailing NDVO.. this what I have been doing every few days. also doing case specific enquires, and make an mp inquiry this what I have been doing for the past 3 months... waiting...... and waiting.....

I completely agree with you. Seems like they forgot about 2012 applicants.. I am so pissed also .. I have been waiting also for last 13 months and my wife is getting mad now..

But, even I feel like slapping and yelling at these Canadian officials in New Delhi. I have been told everything is done under your wife profile but still don't understand why they keeping her passport and not stamping and giving her back.

Give ur wife a big hug from me and say everything will be ok and u guys will be together one day,forever and for countless days I feel the same but what can we do other then to wait. We sent your passport with remedical and police clearance within 30 days as per there request. Let's see!!

We did MP Inquiry 2 times. First time they said everything is finished and will issue the visa very soon and according to our MP office she said my wife will get visa before Dec'2013 ends. Nothing Happened!

Then 2nd time inquiry that we did we gave NDVO original "New Delhi / UK PCC" which they confirmed after we mailed them in April 2013. But, recently according to NDVO first they said they never received "UK PCC", but now saying that "UK PCC" is not a original copy. They are just bullsh%ing. Our MP inquiry told them that both PCC copies that are attached with our profile are original and I am now waiting from there side what they have to say. Don't know what's going on.. It's been 13 months since applied. Can't do anything besides waiting and just praying..
