Hello Everyone...

I wanted to update everyone that my husbands interview went well. He had been preparing so much and took so much evidence with him but the officer was really nice. She only asked to look at our wedding photos and some photos from my last visit. She asked general questions like:

1. When did you first talk or meet
2. How did this relation take place
3. Who introduced you both
4. Where does your wife work
5. Why did she only visit 1 time
6. Where did you go for honeymoon
7. What does her parents do
8. Who lives in her house

Nothing too hard or anything. They have returned his passport and asked him to re-submit his medical and police clearance along with passport.

Thank god all went welll and hopefully this wait will come to an end SOON!

I think waiting for the letter is a procedure but we just sent it without the letter because the visa officer told my husband to send it within 30 days. We didnt know who to follow becuase the receptionist lady told my husband to wait for the letter..We just went a head and followed what the interviewer told us...We have done everything and sent it on Monday...


So, when are you planning to send everything???.....


We are on the same boat...I am sponsoring my husband..

Sorry for not asnwering you questions in the earlier post. So the interviewer didn't mention anything about a letter.. I was surprised too.. she just said to send the documents along with your passport. My husband is still in delhi.. enjoying himself and celebrating the interview..haha.. He's heading back to punjab this weekend and will hopefully send in the documents the coming week...I know it's the weekend and he can't do much.. but I keep getting frustrating cuz he's not back in punjab yet.. I think i'm being a little selfish..lol..

Im from TO and my husband is from Nepal..Horrible weather out here and my husband still wants to come here ASAP to warm me up lol..

Our file was re-opened last week and now is being processed in Ottawa and they have requested new PCCs, medical and a few updated forms. Our E-cas also says "In Process". ;D

Hi all!

I'd just received an email from CIC minister's office in response to my email to him written on 21st Nov 2013. It says:

Our records confirm that your undertaking was approved in August 2012 and that your spouse's application is at the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi for processing. Our records further indicate that the processing of this application is pending the results of background checks.

Although we are unable to provide you with a time frame for this application to be completed, please be assured that as soon as all statutory requirements have been met, the officers will continue to process your spouse's application

This we already knew.....nothing is new though I am happy that Minister's office at least reply me in 45 days.

Wait is still going on.........Ab tou adat hi ho gayi hai.......I hardly check my application status now.........CIC set me behind for two years.......and hatching on my passport....it is like I am house arrest.... ;D

r u sure it takes 3 months to get background check clearance from Ottowa????????? please reply
