Check the 2013 applicants thread.....many jan 2013 applicants are getting decision made with passport
Stamped with visa .
If the strike would have been never ending ..that eould not have been the case...I got my passport request in 12 days flat.... so I dont think personally the strike is affecting to that extent what is being made out of in this thread

anurkk - Where did you get that information regarding the delay/strike?

Reasons for delay is not anything related to strike happening these days,those are general conditions of delay published by CIC opertion bulletin

Are you Parents Sponsorship, IN_PROCESS only happens when they need further docs >> else it goes from App Recieved/Meds Recieved/Decision Made

i think he falls in dependent children and not parent sponsorship ??? ?

yeah anurukk me and my brother are dependent children
our parents had applied us on october 12, 2012
medical was also sent with the file
after that file was sent by mississauga to new delhi on 22nd november 2012
then sponsorship was approved
then on 2nd of march we got the email from ndvo to sent the passport and payment of landing fees
but after that it,s going to complete 4 months nothing was happened on our file
status shows application received :-\

Please share ur experience.

Before you enter they will ask for your interview letter and some identification. Yours and if your spouse is attending then theirs as well. After you enter through the door you and your bags will be checked. You are not allowed any electronics. Cell phone, cameras, chargwrs, usb drives etc. After that you will proceed into the waiting room where there will be a few other people. It's not very crowded. Only about 7-8 other inteviews. And when it's your turn they will call your name on the intercom and tell you which booth number your interview will be in. And you will go in there and that's where your interview will be conducted.

As for what to do when waiting. Just remain calm. Don't be nervous. And if you are then don't show it. Be confident when answering questions. Good luck.

Any body got any reposne in last week from NDVO...

'Service withdrawals continue this week in Dublin, London, Paris, Canada's Mission to the European Union in Brussels, Tel Aviv, Ramallah, Delhi, Chandigarh, Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai and at dozens of headquarters units. In addition, all Foreign Service immigration officers in Mexico City began withholding services today, which will severely reduce the pace and volume of temporary and permanent resident application processing, already plagued by enormous backlogs due to earlier rounds of job action. All told, approximately 200 diplomats were withholding their services at time of release, with others to follow in the days ahead.

Yeah some kind of strike is there with Visa officers ,same time activities are seen with 2013 applicants
