Hi there,

How likely will we get a pr status once we received a medical check up request?

It's not guaranteed but operational bulletin for VO's states that ideally eligibility should be cleared
Criminality and security can still be in progress though

Congrats!
The customs thing sucks - you have to be out for a certain # of hours etc.
If in doubt just wear as much of it as you can (assuming you bought clothes)

unfortunate to know that you fool the country where you are so desperate to become permeant resident. anyways its my personal view.

I landed on 1st at peace bridge without any issue. Good luck to all. And I just took U turn and did not go to usa

I sent yesterday my file to CEC. I hope every thing goes well. Can any body tell me how much time they usually took to get back. Once application received, Does it mean it goes off From CAP?

Hi... I have sent my passport from US to a friend in Canada, and he has sent it to CPP-Ottawa... Tracking says that it was delivered (signature of MS THOMAS... strange thing that this is ms, not mr).
Since I am just over-worried, I would like to confirm, did somebody get signature of MS THOMAS as well while it was delivered ?

In all seriousness, it's been delivered - just calm down and wait for the return tracker to be activated

I see it took seven business days for you after your status had been changed to Decision Made. I wish it would take one or two less days for me as I live in Manitoba.

Thanks! Yeah the letter was issued Dec 17 and envelope post marked Dec 20. So exactly 7 business days. Would have been shorter without all the holidays.
