Guys, My lawyer has sent the passports to CIC through FedEx courierand it has been received by CIC. H heas attached the prepaid canada xpressport envelope alongwith the documents. But he did not give me the tracking number for the passport return. So how will I know how to track the passport return. Will CIC post the tracking number on the ECAS ? Should I ask my lawyer for the tracking number.

Might sound a bit werid but i thought good to get it cleared.

Perhaps ask your lawyer or check you mail box regularly. I don`t think Cic will post tracking number on ecas.

guys what do you think of my situation? should i send an explanation letter to them regarding the adress of my workplace, tell them that we do not have a website since its a small company? or let them do heir review? will it be an interference in their work since they have not asked me/my representative anything ?
I only came to know about it from gcms notes. very confused.pls help :'(

Landed on Dec. 24th @Peace Arch, I had to wait 45 min in US because there were so many visitors, and the officer "refused" to take care of pedestrians first.
I brought my bank statement just in case, but they didn't even ask me that.
The lady officer who gave me work permit 2 years ago was working right next to my officer. what a coincidence!
The landing took about 10-15 min, and I was out the door.

I'm planning to change my name, so I'm not sure if I should wait until I get my name change certificate to update my SIN or not.
Does anyone know how soon we have to change our sin number?

I havent heard anything from CIC after my AOR
I ordered my GCMS notes on the 15th of dec...
My ECAS say application received
If they were to reject my application they should have done it by now,right ?
should I be doing something ?
because I see that almost everyone from the january application got their medicals or the stuff after that
I am kinda nervous here

but mine is different..mine is on review..major problem....donno about u,,,,so don't worry..ur not the only one there

Did they give a list of things to bring like bank statements and stuff prior to going to the border?

For CEC you only need passport, COPR and I think they tell you to take any current work permits if applicable but apart from that there is no proof of funds requirement etc
