When CIC says they updated the file, it is simply a note at the end of the file. The person putting the note assumes that VO issuing Medical will see this note and issue medical only to you. But this usually does not happen and VO will ignore these details. You need to inform CEC again quoting the original communication regarding the breakup.

Did you try logging into ECAS with different identifications?

1) CLient ID is XXXX-XXXX : Note that you need to put "-" between 2 numbers.
2) Receipt number from the AOR email.
3) Your file number EXXXXXXXXX

Inform CIC if none of these work.

The thing is the error message is there since ever. My Ecas never showed no error from beginning. :-\
Also, i applied with my Ex, but we broke up on April. I told the CIC that we broke up and CIC replied me said they have already update my file. On Nov 27th, I got 2 MEs....

I just want to share some facts and figures:

According to data.gc.ca/data/en/dataset/6a26595e-3b66-4591-b795-87702ed5d58e

Total CEC applications granted CEC PR visa from Jan 103 to June 2013 is 1623.
Total spouses and dependants granted CEC PR visa from Jan 103 to June 2013 is 1027
In total 2650 visas were granted until June 30th 2013.

Q1 Q2 YTD

PA 639 984 1623
Depend 454 573 1027

According to recently updated operational targets www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/ips/operational.asp , CIC plans to finalize 12,700 CEC clients (persons) before December 2013.

I dont know how CIC will achieve this considering that only few cases were finalized during the first 2 quarters and CIC employees were on strike during most of the 3rd quarter.

If anyone has link to the 3rd quarter update for CEC, please post the same.

I got MR request on November 1st and paid RPRF on October 31st. I know it took so long to start processing my application.

I tried everything... nothing works!
but it's ok now as i've already received the ME.

I am a visa exempt country. Hope to get PR before Christmas!!

That is pretty fast as doctor uploaded your medical just last week. You can expect your CoPR very soon.

Folks who have completed medicals and waiting for ecas update / ppr , can you please post when Emedicals are completed and when your doctor uploaded the results?
